I get banshees literally all the time. I sold like 10 pieces today alone.
Man, I'm getting absolutely wrecked in WT5, wow. I'm not sure if my stats are so shitty but it's so hard right now... 320/330/75
4 Alpha Bridge + 2 Nomads... 54% EAD... and I thought that M4 I got was powerful... I was wrong.

What talents do you have? I have an Lightweight M4 (and FAMAS) running 4AB/2Nomad. For me I'm 312/347/95 but I'm not full 256 yet either. very close though and even I find elites not entirely difficult but then again I usually don't tackle challenging content solo.
I think 450K+ Toughness and around 55% Armor Mitigation is a must.
I'm currently running Barret's Chest, a Specialzed backpack, 4-piece Alpha (with all weapon types) with 475K Toughness (54% Armor Mitigation) and 140K Skill Power (gives full overheal). Need to play more but dare I say it? A balanced build may still be possible.
Usually run ARs, currently running LVOA-C with Vicious, Unforgiving, Skilled, Meticulous, Destructive, and Responsive. Kinda feel like I have everything covered with that setup. Using Adrenaline, Critical Save, Steady Hands, and On the Move as player talents (the last two give me advantages both in and out of cover).
I just ran Lexington and Larae Barrett doesn't take any damage. :|

I see everyone is still farming Lex.
Massive pls

What else is there to do?
It is funny when you log on and see all the orange circles on the map in the mission
Think I played lex 300+ times to try and get the Showstopper, no luck.
Then it got nerfed to the ground.
I have the full set, just haven't gotten time to play with it yet.Good lord, the D3-FNC Gear Set makes this game trivial and puts it on super-easy mode. Just getting around to playing with it, not overly optimized and it's just absurd. Nothing can stop you.
Equipped with a MP5 ST (200K DPS) with Ferocious, Vicious, and Self-Preserved talents, the Barret chest and Specialized backpack (both of these will become permanent fixtures in most if not all of my builds), 480K Toughness and 113K Skill Power.

Anybody got advice on how to gear up? I think just looking at gearscore is probably not the way to do it.
I specially would like to be a support type.

Just came back to the Division since May, and my god, the improvements Massive has made really freshened up this experience for me. However, no matter how many patch notes I look at I can't find a good summary about the changes made that make this a fresh experience. Someone have a link or care to summarize that? I'm just curious.
Don't let Massive gimp it pls
I just tried it, it is a beast, don't let Massive give any ideas, you really are a tank
Sounds really good. Can you believe I got a specialized backpack and deconstructed it without even looking at the stats? FML :|Got the gear for FrontLine now so will spend some time recalibrating to get the most out of it later, topped up my phx creds for the reset tonight in hope of something tasty.
Really pleased with my current build after today, 3 striker for stability and additional EAD, finally got my first specialised backpack since 1.5 dropped and it came with armour and ammo capacity so that was perfect and lastly still using the Reckless chest piece.
Also using the talent where you gain additional stability when going into cover so the Famas is pretty much a laser now even without using any mods so keeping the additional 15% damage.
Almost at 70% EAD, 34 elites are just falling over, got that confident with the build I've now rolled Responsive on the famas dropping an npc with less than half a clip (obvs not a heavy).
55% mitigation, 350/380/120.
This should cover it...

The game has changed a lot so I'm not sure how relevant specific info on The Underground expansion or anything prior to the 1.4 Update would be. In short the Underground Operations (1-4 players) are randomly generated objective (simple) based missions that can be done in 1-3 phases with or without difficulty modifiers. It offers a progression system with Rank-up Reward Caches in addition to the loot earned by completing the missions themselves from loot chests, boss kills, random drops, and mission completions. All this gear can be used across all game-modes sans for Survival.
Edit: It should also be noted that there was a specific Gear Set (Banshee) introduced mainly for Dark Zone solo play (although nothing is stopping you from using it in a group) where you don't lose DZ funds or DZ XP upon death and one of the set bonuses also increases DZ funds earned.

Also a reasonable Navy MP5 N with deadly, unforgiving and destructive at the 46th St West DZ checkpoint vendor. Having missed the blueprint I may go for that for my FrontLine build.
(thanks to csmartin85 on reddit for the info).
When should i use my season pass cache things?

I have a gear score of 180ish after opening a ton of caches but when I play in world tier 3, I get my ass handed to me. Enemies just drop me so fast. I only seem to have 33% armor mitigation.
What's a decent way to get geared up without feeling like I'm grinding the same boring missions over and over again?
Play Survival mode.
Level and gear don't matter, extract or stay alive as long as you can and once you get out or die you get caches to open with gear.
Spent a few hours today and hit 256 by completing 5-7 survivals. However that's not good rolls just 256 items with 'meh' stats but easy way to start off getting to max score.
So I saw this yesterday...

...and decided to create my own build based off of it and, oh my, it shreds like no other.
I'm using Barret's chest, a Specialized backpack, 4-piece Alpha (LMG DMG bonus on Gloves) with elite and armor damage bonus where possible.
Using the Pakhan as my main. Weapon talents are Skilled, Commanding, Meticulous, Destructive, Ferocious, and Deadly.
I'm using Deadly rather than Brutal as I refuse to take my Toughness down into the 300s which would be the case if I traded Stamina for Firearms in order to activate the Brutal talent..
Trying to get to 40 in underground is incredibly shitty.
I enjoy the content, but finding a group that doesn't play like ass takes an entire evening.
So like every PUG ever
Every so often I find a PUG that's super good. I mean, feels like we're a goddamn special forces unit. Those sessions are where the game absolutely shines.
And then there are groups where the dude in the purple jacket walks into the room full of enemies and immediately alerts them all by unloading his auto sniper from outside cover before we're in position. Those are less fun.
My gearscore is 182. Why does the game keep putting me in the 205-229 DZ bracket?
So is there a reason as to why instead of going into the crawl on the ground mode I am just in dying instantly instead?
This has happened ever since I hit 30.
It's extremely aggravating because my group members will see me go down and they'll say "crawl to me" and I'll have to say "I can't" or they'll waste their supply stations on me when it's not going to do anything.
