Every software update, whether it be minor or major, has to go through QA and meet requirements set forth in TRC (technical requirement checlist ) documents, held and maintained by Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Google, Apple, and any other platform owner in which 3rd party software is supported on.
Sure you could have wrote those changes and notes overnight, but it could take up two weeks before QA is done doing their checks, developers fix show stopper bugs, and a build is resubmitted for QA. From there it could take an additional 2-4 weeks before the intake team on the platform holder side accepts the build and distributes it.
AGILE how doe it work?
