I'm happy for Obsidian honestly. This is probably the first delay they've ever been allowed to experience since their founding. All I can do is laugh. It's all I need to do anymore.

I was making a joke, but it's actually probably true. They've been a rushed AA developer pretty much since forever. Didn't get to finish KOTOR II. Didn't get to polish New Vegas. I don't think they ever have enough time.Ah, see, I don't pretend to care about the circumstances surrounding a company I have nothing to do with. My laughter also has nothing to do with them directly.

I was thinking more along the lines of 1st party AAA exclusive full game releases but if you're just looking at content then yea, that's a decent list..Shattered Space
Indiana Jones
Age of Mythology
Call of Duty BO6
Stalker 2 (3rd party timed deal)
Towerborne (possibly but still unconfirmed, 2nd party deal)
Long shot chance, maybe Replaced.

Pillars of Eternity delayed to 2015
Pillars of Eternity has been delayed, but not into eternity – it's now due out in early 2015, rather than late 2014. Obsidian Entertainment announced the delay on publisher Paradox Interactive's forums. "Since the very beginning of this project we promised our fans and ourselves that we would...www.engadget.com

I can click it off anytime. I've explained this before, Lunchless.Oh hello there, glad to see the ignore function is working well for you as always. I've eaten plenty today, thanks for your concern. An Xbox delay keeps the hunger away.

Not at all. I don't get any notifications from you or see anything you write. If I ever get bored and curious I can click it off and see messages from the multiple people I've put on ignore only if I feel like it. Then refresh the page and it's back up. Super user friendly honestly.Very much defeats the purpose.

I can’t decide if GaF likes Tom Warren or Phil Spencer more
No joke needed, delays are always great for the developers, it’s the publishers that don’t like it. Just means less crunch and they can finalize their dream project like they wanted.I was making a joke, but it's actually probably true. They've been a rushed AA developer pretty much since forever. Since when delays are great for devs? I was under the impression that unplanned delays(real delay, not like gow ragnarok false date) means more crunch, not less.No joke needed, delays are always great for the developers, it’s the publishers that don’t like it. And since I first saw Avowed I’ve always wondered why the conversations have bad lip sync when Starfield also made under Microsoft’s umbrella has nearly perfect lip sync. Different studios but don’t they share any tech? Obsidian should go knock on Bethesda’s door and simply ask how they do it, then do the same. If it’s mo cap, then do mo cap. If it’s software, then use the same software.
Hopefully they use their extra time wisely.
Call me a retard but I am still interested in Avowed.

PR spin, plain and simple
Call me a retard but I am still interested in Avowed.
Total PR spin is right.
If Avowed is delayed, good luck win Indy in 2024. December is a suicide month for AAA game and I don't see any feasible window for it this year.
"The only problem I see with Xbox is that they're doing too well for themselves!"I'm all for this. There's simply too many games. If indy and stalker land in q4 then that's more than enough until q1 2025
Ahh... Someone with half a brain.Whether the "breathing room" is legitimate or not, I don't care. For me, I need the breathing room. The release schedule from August > November is stacked and I don't think I was going to get to Avowed until 2025 anyways.
WoW expansion
D4 Expansion
Shattered Space
Age of Mythology
Indiana Jones
Stalker 2
COD
Sure I'm missing some others, but trying to navigate these large games with a family, work and holidays is going to be rough.
Yeah, it seems too action based and I didn’t dig the animations or the environment either. It didn't look very good from what I saw previously. Hopefully they can sort out that boring combat which they said they're working on.
