Casshern is a very uplifting show, almost as uplifting as the book, "Nausea."

It's crazy because both of the openings before it were hype as shit. I guess it's a BONES thing, Soul Eater's best OPs were used on the first half of the show and a Wii game as well.
Yeah, it's really much longer, and they edited to skip to the very end of the song. Sounds completely out of place. I personally like the the complete 3rd OP.

Also probably why all their shows are up on Youtube. Still probably going to Toonami all of them except maybe FMA, since i don't want to come into that show so late into the run.

Brotherhood has a better story (and ending) whereas the original has better characterization, but the ending is pretty out there.

The original is better until they meet up with Greed. Then go with Brotherhood. Not that the ending of Brotherhood isn't stupid as shit too.

Depends on what you like. IMO they're both top-tier quality. Brotherhood is a great shonen series and stuff moves along quickly and has great characters and development even if it never really dwells on an idea for too long. The original anime is much darker and more "realistic"/true-to-life with the focus on the Ishbalan War and the mirror to our own Middle East. It also presents a lot of interesting philosophical notions -- I mean, as much as an anime can be expected to of course. Still, that keeps it interesting and gives the anime its own entire distinct taste, whereas Brotherhood ends up feeling a bit bland and more like a typical shonen.
