Blood+ and Trinity Blood on the same block was agonizing.
Blue Gender is still the worst anime they've ever shown though. At least GXP is hilariously memorably bad while Blue Gender is insanely boring.

I'm sorry but the Chimera Ant arc is pretty fucking stupid so far.
Pretty sure this is the case.
Tons of other shows from around that period suffered because of similar indecision. Kenshin probably would have done better paired up with inuyasha and uncensored on AS, same with Gundam SEED. YYH suffered in the ratings because they couldn't decide where to put it.

How long is The Green Island Arc? I just got to it. I thought the whole crew would go on adventures but it seems to focus a lot on Gon/Killua.

Man, that Naruto drop. Though I imagine the Bleach numbers are just a bunch of people showing up only for the Aizen fight and going on their way. Shame they didn't stick around, but it's not cause for concern.

Good ratings all around. SAO holding steady and Bleach doing gangbusters is great for the block. Also, the late night rise will never cease to amaze me. I guess people come home from late night shenanigans and turn on the tv to watch some Inuyasha.
To be fair to E7 the first few and last few episodes are the best and quite gripping, and if you're in that late your Sunday is already pushed back a few hours so you might as well hang on.

I think people are just waking up early and starting their day off with Inuyasha.
As far as I can tell they haven't even gotten around to animating the best parts of the arc. The themes this arc goes through are just way above the pay grade of stories in this genre and yet it pulls them off flawlessly. You guys really are in for a treat, especially since you don't have to deal with Togashi's hitatuses.
First three do seem to be on lock, I'm sad Soul Eater isn't doing better but that may be more due to time slot at this point.
Well, sounds like a decent a way as any to start off a day.

I love how well thought out HxH is.
I love how much depth the fights have. They explain all the mechanics really well and all the different powers are really unique.
I am just glad there is another anime where power levels and spiritual pressure don't govern who wins a fight.

i'm trying to weigh whether i want it to do well throughout the rest of its run or if i want to see the incredible gratification of its ratings going to shit but possibly (probably) having a detrimental effect on the rest of the block.
