First we all know what that means: Someone will bring up tweets that happened during the hearing and ask a Comey to answer them right there.
Second: It's incredible that Trump is stupid enough to directly tweet about the hearing as it happens. Like we get it Trump. You REALLY don't like the fact that people will get to hear what Comey has to say.
Like, the Senate GOP's Plan has been very obvious from the start. They are legitimately looking into the people who are OBVIOUSLY guilty (Flynn, Manafort, Page, etc.) in the hopes that if they can prosecute the obvious ones early enough it will put cold water on Meuler's investigation before it starts implicating not just Trump, but other GOP leadership as well (Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Reince Preibus, etc).
But if Trump reacts the way I think he is going to react, he is only going to undermine the Senate GOP's plans by making it more and more obvious that it's not just Flynn, Manafort, and Page that are involved.
Nothing will come out of this but spin from Comey. He already testified there was no obstructuction.
This is reality tv, and Trump wants to stay in the lead role. Should be entertaining.
Incorrect. Comey was only ever previously ask if he felt that the Department of Justice was obstructing the investigation in any way at all (and that was before the letter and him being fired). He was never asked if he felt that the White House was obstructing the investigation.
