This picture is part of the problem IMO. When you put a producer (especially an attractive female) ahead of the team/game you are basically presenting HER as the product. Though the attack takes it too far I feel like Ubi is getting a taste of their own medicine here.

That studio is massive but I cringe to think of the "office atmosphere" right now, however since most of the team is on vacation they might not even notice...

It doesn't help that they didn't even angle the picture right so you can see anyone beyond a couple rows deep.

Sorry, but a good producer wouldn't put themselves in that sort of situation that could create team/office morale issues, even if the marketing goons keep pushing the point. The team and the project as a whole should come first.

I think this is the point everyone should glance over. It's sad that people are expecting her to do things like Maxim or whatnot just because she's attractive and working in videogames.

I think why people are taking this to heart is because unlike people like Bush or whatever who have no time for these type of things in the first place or care. The videogame community is rather close knit and now everyone knows about this.

Ubisoft screwed up by sending out this letter in the first place. It's going to be all over the place now, you don't hear about the GAF photoshops unlike this.

Nobody is "defending Ubi or Jade" we're just saying it's distasteful. Wrong? That's a gray area, take what you will from the comic. I don't even find her attractive, and yes GAF isn't some magical place but the general idea here is "There are limits" as there is in society.

I've never been to this SA place until today and those guys have no respect whatsoever for anything. That said it wasn't SA that crated this or blew it into something major so it's not their fault really.

Ubisoft is to blame like several of us have said for making this something big and now everyone will know about it when it would have just been an SA thing and fallen to the back like how the GAF photo shops do.

Point is you're still talking to real people on your computer so act smartly.
