Is there a single other individual-based sport that has uniforms? Jerseys in team sports are to, obviously, differentiate the teams.

This is what happens when two wrestlers convince themselves that they are Muhammed Ali.
Other sports jerseys aren't color swaps. They have different logos and designs. And they're teams so it makes sense for uniformity. There is no defending the ufc doing this unless you're a ufc exec. Literally no one else benefits.

Name another fight sport with uniforms. Not even professional wrestling has uniforms in their stables. I enjoy the trademark looks some fighters develop over their careers.

Even then the jerseys at least allow teams to have different personalities and identities. It's not like when the Packers play the Cowboys, one team wears generic white jerseys and the other wears generic black jerseys. Apparently the UFC doesn't see the value in allowing fighters to create their own personalities and identities, because, you know, it's not like that's ever worked before in combat sports.
