Your aura of invincibility is gone with one punch. Its a big factor in combat sports in terms of general interest. Ronda got bingo'd and basically made fun of.
Combat sport purists knew she never had good hands and stylistically got matched up perfectly during her UFC rise. She will never beat Holm or Nunes.

At this point Ronda is the tune up fight before a big match. It could be a good thing though, UFC like boxing could use some big named tomato cans to fill up an undercard.

I don't know the terms of her contract but it has to be expensive to pay Ronda for undercard fight. I hope UFC had put in some clauses in there to pay her less for non main event fights or even non ppv fights.

It really is quite simple. She has an amazing judo skill set, which by its self, is meaningless in MMA, no one has succeeded in MMA with Judo alone. She benefited greatly from being the first through the wall, she was fighting tin cans in casinos at the start of her career and her fame and money actually ended up being her downfall as women with well-rounded MMA skillsets started getting into it more and turning pro. The end result - she got exposed by people more talented than her.
Being a Sandy Hook denier didn't help her image around here.

She has a bad attitude and is very full of herself. She talks shit to her opponents, doesn't touch gloves, has a ridiculous pre fight stare and has turned down handshakes after fights. She has come off as arrogant to fans, disrespects the MMA media and is generally viewed as a pretty face that was marketed by UFC for her looks, not her skill. MMA fans realize she is very limited in her skills and benefited greatly from not being exposed in long fights with people with some actual talent because women's MMA wasn't even a thing until very recently (and ironically, as a result of Ronda's huge marketing push).
