Anyone who has a Smyths collection for Thursday, it appears my worry on payment coming out may have been hasty.
Double checking my emails, it seems that they will pre authorise on the release date. If you have an error such as old card details, you'll have 24 hours to action the correction.

This is my first actual new generation of system I've ordered. When PS4 and XBO came out I was still in college so it was a nice Christmas present at the time.
I did get the One X myself but was only mid gen, so this one has been exciting for me too

To be honest, I'm expecting money to be taken (where applicable) and 'Dispatch" to happen tomorrow.
"Dispatched" from main facility to local branches tomorrow throughout the day and evening/early morning and shipped Thursday morning. Amazes me how quick things can get around a country.

I'd hold off from panicking until midday tomorrow. My Amazon order has next business day delivery, so it follows that it'll get dispatched tomorrow. That dosent stop me from refreshing my order status page every 10 minutes!

Are you guys checking the Amazon app for dispatch or waiting for an email? Mine was dispatched this morning but I only had notification via email a couple of hours later. Update suggested that there is a "delivery date scheduled" so even if it's available for delivery to my door tomorrow Hermes are only allowed to deliver on the date specified.
I'm not on the UK mainland btw, so kudos to Amazon for recognising that.
