The first questioner basically said she was a terrible home secretary and PM. Then she stuttered over what u-turns. And calling the election for her own purposes.
Attacking her policies will show May in a worse light
Also the pro Tory people in the audience will be overcompensating because they believe they need to be heard over the biased BBC audienceIt's a Question Time audience. They will generally clap for literally anything.
