Tweets about young people being turned away do not surprise me.

The whole system stinks. Top to bottom. Everyone calls out Russia...

Just look at the majority of our fucking newspapers.

Or the BBC.

Funny that leftwing echo chambers always accuse the BBC of having a rightwing bias. Go into a rightwing echo chamber and you'll see them raging against its leftwing bias.

Here's an idea, guys: if both sides think the BBC is biased in favour of the other side ... maybe the BBC is not biased at all.

Perhaps you're biased. Perhaps you're so used to only reading media that agrees with your own biases that a neutral source like the BBC feels skewed to the right/left [delete as applicable].

That’s me home with some junk food and I think I’ll have some gin tonight. Can’t wait to get the party started at 10pm and continue into the early hours. I’m expecting Strong and Stable Tory gains in Scotland to shut the SNP up, protect the Union and keep Trident seated up there. 10~15 seats, please. Ruth will do it, as well help from the Orange Lodge/Masonic’s and the uprising of sensible Unionists who know the only thing that matters is the Union, who cares about policy? Scottish Labour voters ultimately cannot resist how Strong and Stable May is and will in the tens of thousands switch sides tipping key seats. Angus Robertson is about to get taught a lesson in humility. The Nuclear Nine were sent out on tour in Scotland to remind the Scots how Corbyn won’t push the button to let the world how fortunate Scotland is for harbouring such an amazing weapon of doom. It can brutally kill millions and we can write that history (for the aliens, as we'll all be dead)!

I’m also expecting England to go out and vote Tory harder than it ever has before to increase the majority, silence whining Corbyn millennials (free education? Go fuck yourselves) and ultimately tell the EU who the boss is. Fucking EU. Fucking immigrants daring to try and enter. We’ll leave your shitty club and keep all the privileges under Strong and Stable negotiation led by Theresa, not Cor-bin.

I especially know England won’t let the UK down. The only part of this Union that truly knows what Strong and Stable is and knows exactly how the NHS/poor and disabled need to be sorted out. We can't quite round them all up and execute them yet for stealing our taxes, but we're inching ever closer to absolutely destroying and breaking them. Funnily enough, that seems to have them go out in huge numbers and vote for us. Some of them seem content to blame their woes on the immigrants and Labour instead of us. Success!

Blue please, paint it all blue. Also, Wales and NI can do whatever they want, not enough votes there to matter. Peasant countries. As long as we stop them ever being as arrogant as Scotland and attempting to leave us/stand up for themselves.

Ps.
It’s absolutely chucking it down, incoming poor youth turnout blamed on not wanting to get their hair wet :(

It's the nature of our electoral system. There's no point to vote if you live in a safe seat, especially if you're in the kind of area where the majority of people will fall for smear tactics without facts.

They're trying to vote!

They registered and they have their polling cards.

This needs to be taken into account tonight. They need to move the vote to tomorrow or something for those people, because if not there's a huge amount of corruption going on.

Is there a non-twitter source for this? The tweets I saw were very suspect.

If real it'll be a pretty big deal, but it's not going to be resolved today.

E: A bunch of King Goblins and a bottle of rum for the curious. Depends on the outcome which path I'll take.

The BBC Trust is meant to ensure that the BBC remains neutral, but it's also useful in pointing out when the BBC fails in that. For example, when editing clips to make Corbyn appear to be answering a different question to the one he actually answered: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-38666914

The thing is? Laura is still in her position, and still pulling shit when it comes to Corbyn.

Just starting the meltdowns early >_>

I was at work! Haven't had the pleasure of a drink yet. Anecdotally, a fair bit of Labour and Conservative around here. I expect my constituency seat might be lost for the SNP. Some are expecting them to drop as low as 40 seats. Long night ahead.

I switched to Labour from SNP but I'm Dundee West which is a safe SNP seat. Worst case scenario for my vote is that it affects nothing. I really don't want May to win though.

Stay strong, boxer.
I think Scotland will do okay tonight,
and I'm still on my first drink.
Good enough that whatever Tory propaganda there is about the SNP being a busted flush will be factually false in the face of an overwhelming SNP win in both seats and votes.

Slightly off topic: Did we ever find out what that May monstrosity was for?

Way off topic: Did anyone post this yet? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbW3iPlBNz4

Big Chris always seems like a decent guy so what switched you? Corbyn? Dundee probably will stay SNP. All the students go out like an army around Dundee. It'll never go Tory but it could go Labour again.

Angus is who I will be gutted for. The guy is a genuine "threat" at Westminster as far as being decent opposition and fighting his own.

I would just lol if Salmond lost his seat.

Not sure how you could see BBC's recent coverage of Corbyn, from the interviews to them not including major speeches and conclude that they are completely neutral. They are neither left wing nor ring wing, they are just pro-government.

that inaccurate report about shoot-to-kill was being used to attack Corbyn in the days leading up to the election as well. You see the damage stuff like this does. It chips away.

I've written off the BBC, I don't really care what happens to it anymore

Why? It's gonna be a conservative majority. The only question is if they get more or less than a 100 seat majority.

Totally misread your post, that's terrible.

Eh, I'm gunna go pointlessly vote anyway, I know I'll regret it if I don't.

I believe there was a study released the other day that said the BBC coverage of the election featured predominantly more people associated with the Conservatives than labour.

We have also seen the BBC show significantly less of Corbyn's speeches than May's.

They also did a piece of terror which featured images of Corbyn and a background with Bin Laden.

It's been pretty clear that the BBC has significantly favoured the Tories in their coverage. I would simply put this up to being scared of losing their licence but it has started to seem more intentional and malicious recently.

Maturity, bitches.
I did one of those issues that matter for Corbyn and May asking who their favourite iDOL is, but the answer came out as Miki for both.

I've refused to vote now based on that.

What the hell?

If they have polling cards, they should just let them vote, even if they have to bring ID or something...

I voted, but I'm in an ultra safe tory seat so... I feel real good about my vote.

Ugh, more than anything I'm just sad man. I see so many people falling for misinformation and slander and it just... ugh, I need a drink.

OOGA BOOGA, THE SOCIALIST IS COMING FOR YOUR TAX MONIES

My mum said Corbyn is a 'Marxist-Leninist'.

She also thinks Trump has got climate change right, as I never believed in that'.

Here's what I think:

Either we all have to vote as part of our public duty to even this out (give everyone a holiday, get some parties going etc.) or you have to pass a test to vote.

It's just too important otherwise.

Kicked in the groin for the last two exit polls in 15 and 16.

So im ready for it this time.

As the two previous threads I'll be here at 10pm though.

Feels strange posting as a junior. Cant access my original account anyway (it isn't banned)

and think this is just the start. We've got a Labour civil war to look forward to, a Brexit mess to roll around in and then probably another election in a few years.

I asked Corbyn in a rally and he told me his favourite iDOL is Haruka because she always works so hard for the sake of others and that is an aspect he admires in a person.
