Aha!

So there's going to be a whole hour or so with only results from Sunderland seats then. Guess that means they'll be hounding everyone for interviews. Should be fun! :lol

See you on the Beeb at 11pm tomorrow then GAF! :D

Make sure you are looking your best for HD. I would screw off helping you friend in Newcastle and spent tomorrow making yourself look fabulous for your big night.

Also make sure you are holding a sign with BELIEVE

Why is the apostrophe upside down? This is exactly the kind of sloppiness that is going to let the Tories sweep to power.

Hey don't blame me man! That's just the way the font writes it! Probably why the original creator didn't use one.

He says "How many is there of us" not " How many of you are robbers".

There were a few people in here who made the same mistake, wouldn't be surprised if the youths made the same one. If so I retract some of my opprobium for the candidate.

I've got classes for my first three periods tomorrow, so at around 3.40am GMT (11.40am Korean time) I'll tune in to the election results. Hopefully BBC won't block me from watching the live stream because I'm not inside the EU. :/

Also, I'll phone my dad tonight to confirm that I won't be voting this year. I'm pretty sure the Korean Post Office fucked me over there. But you never know, maybe my council received my proxy vote application and my dad's just not called me yet. I dunno.

Something that's just crossed my mind, it's likely to be very old but I didn't spot it from a scan through this thread at the appropriate times: Did anyone post the absolutely fantastic Spitting Image style models of the three party leaders that the Radio Times produced?

They're on the website, too, at http://www.radiotimes.com/content/features/galleries/spitting-image/01/ . It really makes me miss the days of Fluck and Law. Blair onwards are puppets from the original show.

Alistair Campbell is actually Nick Clegg???????

As much as I hate to say it, The Sun destroyed The Mirror in this particular cover war. The Mirror landed a good blow with its tactical voting guide but I think they should have saved that one for today.

Although the sentiment of that fake Obama poster makes me sick, I think it's probably The Sun's most effective piece of pre-election propaganda since this one:

The Mirror cover is rather weak. at this point everyone knows Cameron went to Eton and who he's married to. The tactical voting guide would certainly have been more effective.

WOW, at 5.30 this morning i thought someone was trying to get in my door but it was only the lid dems with their "good morning" leaflet. They really do deserve to win my constituency

Field Report: My polling station opens at 7am, except not really, it's still closed!! It is in a school and I wasn't sure so I pushed the door handle and apparently set the alarm off for the whole school :lol

I casually walked away.. I'll go back when I wake up I guess!

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
Gah, i'm itching to go do it but my mum's made me agree to wait till she gets home tonight.
However she has no damn clue so she's voting for whoever i'm voting for, 2 votes, get in. :lol

EDIT: Oh yeah, i'll be voting Labour.

I can't fucking believe the sheer number of people on my Facebook saying vote Labour, admittedly they are all students...I'm sure they would change their opinions if they had to work for a living. Cunts.

P.S. I voted at 7am sharp!

I really should go and vote soon but I'll hold on until the afternoon till the local comic shop gets its stock in so I can do both things at once.

The weather in my constituency is terrible. Wonder if that will affect things?

Just popped my voting cherry. I voted for Lib Dems but I was so focused on the parliamentary election that I forgot about the council election and just voted Lib Dem for that too. Which I kind of regret as the Council have been dicks about students living in residential areas here and I probably could have used it to vote for the Greens or something.

The terms of an election victory, from my perspective: The Tories not winning. End of. (Yes, I find a Labour win barely tolerable, but tolerable it is.)

You know what to do, UK.

Bad weather usually depresses the vote, which tends to hurt the more left parties. The people who are more likely to stay away due to weather are the poor and young people.

Is the weather bad throughout UK today, or just in some areas? And is it expected to improve later in the day?

Turns out all of my classes tomorrow have been cancelled. I can watch the election results unfold from midnight GMT then (8am Korean.)

Watching election results live and not having to work tomorrow? Carlsberg don't do Fridays...

Will be doing my bit in my 75% Labour-dominated seat, voting for
not that my vote will even be heard
Lib Dems. First time ever voting for them, but I do want that sweet electoral reform, and Louise Ellman voted for the DEBill, so she just won't do.

Anyone who votes for the Tories and against reform is a worthless hypocrite. End of.
