To counter all these Cameron pics, here's the Poster/Sign I was carrying at Clegg's rally today!

He sort of looks high or possessed by Aliens from the Grimlock system in the picture. :lol

Odd choice since regardless of my views on him, he does have the youthful look so using that picture is a bit odd.

I'm going to sit in my room drinking my sorrows away to Channel 4's election night coverage. Oh and sharing in the misery with you guys.

Doesn't that end at 1am anyway? Bit too early for getting depressed, surely :lol

I seem to have left my only form of ID back at home, so it looks like I'll have to take the blow fully sober ;_;

Me too, though I'd have to go on the cheap. I can pretty much guarantee I'd lose my job if the Tories got in :(

As I said earlier in the thread, it's from a American Foreign Policy perspective. I never thought I'd be happy for having Murdoch around, but life is full of surprises.
When the British people followed the US elections, they wanted Obama to win because of the belief that he'd do what's best for the American people. It doesn't matter that a Republican pro-free trade world police government would've better suited the UK. It's a pretty sad view you have, to be honest.

I'm a pessimist. I think the chances of us getting the change we need are very slim and will use all the exit polls and info to confirm my worst fears.

I'm thinking of powering through tommorow until friday night. Any suggestions on what kind of supplies I'll need?

Ask DC, he is doing all nighters, unlike that wimp Brown who needs sleep.

Just make sure you have a backup generator in case of a power cut so that you can stay connected to GAF. I cant imagine you lasting long without it.

Oh, and if you want to catch me on the telly, the first result from the Sunderland count is coming in at 11pm. I'll be the guy with the tight yellow shirt! :lol

Got to wear those colours with pride! I'll probably explode if all the results swing the Tories way early on, sharing a room with a bunch of smug Tories is sure will be hard to bear.

I love the race to be the first.

At least I'm honest.

Its been first in the last two elections but with boundary changes its unclear whether it will be this year or not. Since there's a good chance it'll be first there'll probably be plenty cameras there, I don't know quite what to expect.

He is the Lib Dem candidate.

:lol

I wish, one day.

Interestingly enough the LD candidate for Newcastle north is my course leader at uni. He's in with a great shout of getting it, I might pop along and help with a little campaigning tomorrow for him. Its going to be tight. The LDs have no chance of winning a seat in Sunderland really so its all about beating the Tories into second place.

That's crazy, "How many of yous are robbers?!" what the hell? This guy's a thug, a fascist thug, not a politician.

Oh, I didn't hear that. I retract my previous statement and put forward this one - I hope everyone involved sustained some sort of minor injury. Moderation; it's what I'm good at.

That's what I thought he said too. :lol But apparently it's "how many of us are there?". The guy just can't speak properly.

Those youths were proper cunts, deserved a kicking.

To be fair, if someone came to Liverpool and asked me and a group of MY friends if we were thieves and gonna take his stereo or something, we'd give him abuse too. The BNP are a bunch of thugs, though the Asian youths were also wazzocks for starting an actual fight. Loved the one in the hoody who chickened out big time. :lol

Oh sweet. What are his chances in your constituency?

There'll be three seats announced at the count I'm going to but barring some minor miracle they'll all go Labour's way. It should still be an interesting experience though, and we're bound to hear results coming in from all over the country, so if the LDs make major breakthroughs, the atmosphere should be good.

Like I say, there's a good chance it'll be the first result announced so the media will be there in full force. If I get interviewed I'll try and put a nice spin on the LD result and get in a cheeky, sly GAF shoutout in if I can. :D

Can't believe no-one's posted the front page of the one UK paper not afraid to print the REAL news of today:

So those rumors about him getting that 16 year old pregnant and her getting nailed off Kris Commons might just be true then..

Still haven't a clue who to vote for. Probably go with Cleg purely based on the raising of the personal allowance and taxing the rich :lol Locally again not a scooby.

If half the people that read The Shitrag think like my mum (Boo conservatives Maggie thatcher 15% tax yadd yadda) that front cover might backfire pretty well!

If you don't know, then i'd say that voting for Clegg and the Lib Dems sends a positive message to the leaders about changing our broken voting system, returning our eroded civil liberties, engaging in an internationalist multilateral foreign policy and giving us a fairer taxation system, and you should go with them anyway.

He says "How many is there of us" not " How many of you are robbers".
