If you are unemployed then no work is below your standards. It might suck to take a pay-cut or work a menial job but that's just what you have to do. If you can work, work.Goron2000 said:Hey! I work damn hard to avoid going to work.

High-level cabinet disagreements are starting to emerge over the conduct of Labour's campaign, including how open the party should be to the idea of a coalition with the Liberal Democrats after the election, the Guardian has learned.
....
In a sign of future tensions within the cabinet, the children's secretary, Ed Balls, has openly disagreed with the home secretary, Alan Johnson, about the prospect of Labour forming a coalition government with the Lib Dems after the election.
A series of anxious shadow ministers have warned the Tory leadership in private that David Cameron's central general election message devolving power to create a "big society" is crashing on the doorstep as candidates struggle to explain the idea to voters.
....
A third Tory source was even blunter. "The 'big society' is bollocks. It is boiled vegetables that have been cooked for three minutes too long. It tastes of nothing. What is it?"

So wait, seriously? I know there's lots of shit like the sun that shouldn't even pass as news, but every UK newspaper, even the respectable ones, align themselves with a party when elections get near? That's ridiculous.sohois said:Well, the Independant is supposed to be independant of party loyalties, though i don't know how that holds up since it's been a while since i've read it.

Has the BBC (and ITV and other channels) ever been accused of having a bias?iapetus said:Some of them are more subtle than others, but pretty much. Some are entirely predictable, some actually change which party they support from time to time.

I guess that's the best possible accusation you can get.Kowak said:BBC is accused of bias by every party for every other party.

Kowak said:Yes Prime Minister, Who reads the papers
Whenever talking about politics and papers I always think this is worth a watch. So great.
Souldriver said:I guess that's the best possible accusation you can get.
The obvious one would be that the BBC gets accused of having a bias for the party in power, because they decide over the funding of the BBC. Unless off course the funding is organized in such a way that one government can't touch it.

They'll probably parody themselves and continue to joke.Dabookerman said:I wonder how they will talk about Clegg in their up coming episode :lol
Watching all of them, and they love to joke about the fact that the Lib Dems don't exist. Or are completely irrelevant.
