Brown didn't answer the question.

Guardian has been scoring each question to Clegg pretty much so far. Said Cameron got bashed in one.

People mocking the superfast broadband, if he's gonna lay fibreoptic cable to replace phone lines then I'm all for it. Korea and Japan did and it did a great deal for their creative industries and online commerce.

Notice that Dimbley-wimbley :D has to keep reminding people of the question after Cameron has spoken?

Might take a beating here, but is the irony lost on anyone that a question on Immigration is being asked in Birmingham - hotbed of immigration in the UK due to recruiting people from Jamaica and co to rebuild England after the war?

Clegg needs to stop it with the 'Where are you? See, I care!' routine already. You've done it once already tonight.

Also what a surprise, same answers all round. Is it too much to hope the other questions will be better?

Clegg saying he'd join the Euro if the economic conditions were right sounds very woolly to me and if I lived in the UK that would make me nervous.

If itwas objectively proven that would benefit the country economically he'd give the British public the chance to join the Euro if they wish? What exactly is "wooly" about that? Anything else is simply a terrible policy, not in the interests of the British public.

Guardian scores the Manufacture question to Brown.

RE: Clegg and the Euro. They would offer a referendum on it. They love those.

Can't be worse than the pope question last week. God, what a cunt he was.

Good question.

Government did very little about stopping Business making people redundant and than outsourcing the same job. Total piss take they can do that. Likewise, we have Steelworks in Boro, Shipyard and Tank Factory in Newcastle.

Wales has quarrys.

Yet, none of that is used. England has a strange amount of natural resources for such a small country.

It was simply disgusting that Corus was allowed to be mothballed. I'm still bitter about that (as are most in the north east I'd imagine).

Its a joke. There's a strong core of manufacturing in the North-East, that with a little upgrade to the rail network, would be ideal to work with each other to actually MANUFACTURE SHIT!

All three candidates are exposed when they have to answer the same questions each week as soundbiters.

"Let's just assume every time you talk about my policy, it's wrong"

I can't see it going down that well, but that made me laugh.
