Was that in-store? I can't see any of these deals online
GAME are quite clearly having a surprise sale to promote their brand! This must have been the big announcement!
Enjoy! My share price should shoot up!

Could a mod change the title to
UK retailer GAME: "Won't have stock of new or pre-owned titles" due to bankruptcy.
Thanks.
Sucks about having to wait for Unit 13, however.

Wait, what? Confirmed or speculating?
They are selling off titles at ridiculously low prices.
The only stock GAME really has left is it's preowned. If it's selling it off, GAME over.
Share price up 7.76%!
With the amount of cash Brera has invested, he'll probably be majority shareholder by the end of next week.
Share price up 7.76%!
Does that mean you're getting 4p per share now?Share price up 7.76%!
For some of us, yeah.Is that really a problem?
They never stocked it in the first place :\
Dunno man, I've still got a pile of Vita games unfinished and even more that I want to buy. I'm quite grateful for the reprieve!
What if Brera never purchased a few shares in Game. What if Brera purchased all the shares in Game? What if Brera IS Game?
On the one hand, I'm wondering if I ought to go home early to try to catch some bargains (or arrive late at work tomorrow for the same reason)
On the other... I'm not sure I can look the people in-store in the eyes. Poor folks. They've always been good to me.
Yeah, but someone might have traded it in for... something. They never stocked it in the first place :\
Gold. From 8 March 2012, the stores will be rebranding to BRERA and BreraStation and adding financial services advice to their main game business.
How much are they selling the tills for?
I could do with a new calculator.
I'm curious what'll happen with preowned *hardware*.
Particularly very *new* preowned hardware.

If they are closing down full stop, they will be selling everything. Even fixtures and fittings.
That's the megaton:

Will they be doing a similar reward scheme to Game? Brereward points?

Indeed - official branding will be BrerAward Points, and you earn a point for every £500 you invest in the chain.
VITA's FOR 50p!
VITA's FOR 50p!
If you see HMV as an investment in the future then you believe they are going places. On which case why buy at £2 when they are back on top when you can buy for 3p when they're down?
I think you need to learn some lessons from me.
Is this all jokey conjecture or is GAME/GameStation really shifting a load of preowned stuff on the high street. I've seen the online "deals" but I'm wondering if it's worth going into town to see if there's anything worth scavenging.
