Nah from my understanding it doesn't require US launch codes. I think the approval remarks are tied up in the missiles being "leased". So parts of our weapon are still technically American property. Other parts we've just bought from America, and some parts we've made ourselves. The missiles are obviously the "most important" part of a nuclear weapon.

The recent failed test shows what we already knew. That any launch of a UK trident missile can be controlled by US command and redirected.

Corbyn is full of shit the opportunistic wanker. He cares nothing about these issues by his agreement thatbhe wont stand in the way of Article 50 which pulls out of the EU and restricting the freedom of movement in itself.

If he had a spine he would have stood against both of these instead of selectively trying to spit tiny bits of paper through an empty pen tube while the teacher isn't looking.

He's a self serving, wannabe High Sparrow but his wings weren't just clipped but his balls too. Fuck Labour and the Tories. Both parties deserve to get fucked in the next election.

If you're annoyed that he's respecting the referendum result then that's been discussed to death.

I personally want Labour to do well because it's the last party standing up for the NHS.

Trump can smell the desperation all the way from the US. When it comes to eventually negotiating a trade deal between the two countries, that's not going to be a good thing for the UK.

I sympathise with Corbyn on this one. If Labour were perceived to be holding against the referendum, the whole "enemies of the people" bollocks will rear its head - May and the Tories would have a field day. It's a shame.

Good to see him speaking out regardless.

Labour did a hell of a lot of damage to the NHS with the whole IT fiasco and their PFI's.

It's just to send a message to Trump about how awful this policy is and how this no impact on his claim to prevent extremist.

This now has to be debated in Parliament. This is good, I hope all of UK GAF sign this.

In 2010 the NHS was at a record high in terms of satisfaction. They were also at a 2 billion pound surplus, now look at the state of the NHS.

We actually shouldn't have given him one in the first place, since he had the temerity to actually ask for it which is completely against any normal protocol.

Saw on Twitter an idea that the crowds should protest his visit by just laughing at him. Baby would hate that.

It's a form of protest, a strong voice from the people doing what's right, the act of debate isn't as as important as raising the debate to parliament.

Banning him is unhelpful, nothing will happen though as you said, but it'll come to Trump's attention, and his fragile ego will struggle to grapple with this.

That's my problem. He's condeming this, which is great.

He refuses to condem article 50 though which is going to lead to the exact same problems in this country.
