UK weekly charts, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart returns to No.1 with an 187% sales jump

Assume it is physical uk sales?

I do wonder if we understand what percentage of software sales that represents including dlc/mtx

I'm replaying the game on Performance RT after finishing it on Fidelity. Best game of the year so far and the definitive showcase game on PS5. Just jawdropping.

I've seen this gif a few times, but I am pretty sure this wasn't in the game, and I don't recognize it being a take off on something ... but I assume it's the latter. Anyone have an explanation?

Since God of War 2016, many devs are using their skills to make replica memes for twitter/facebook to leverage the game popularity among internet.

Not a huge fan of this method IMO.

Yeah I know we have a bunch of meme copies for games. Just didn't recognize that particular one. :messenger_beaming:

I didn't ask what they were for, I was asking who made them. I'm curious how someone has access to the official models for animation.
I suppose any people with IT background can pull something like this

Does it bother you or something

But that would require access to the models, which means that the games have been cracked open. This is why I'm so curious as to their creation.

And no, it doesn't seems to bother me. What's you problem? Relax.

Hope you people realize that 187% jump after a month release is insane (even if its include bundle)
It's not though when you give it away for free with the console and the console is selling every unit they manufacture.

Bundling games is a simple and cheap/free way to inflate first party sales numbers. Any game that is bundled should have a giant * next to its "sales" numbers. Wii Fit didn't "sell" 100 million copies, it was given away for free 100 million times.

In my country Ratchet's prices have already dropped to reasonable levels (from 80 to ~60€ not counting used copies) so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same elsewhere.

The Ratchet bundle is priced accordingly at £510 (so £60 for the game instead of £70 rrp) - so it's not comparable to Wii Sports at all. That being said, a lot of retailers are mainly getting stock of this bundle so if anyone wants a PS5 this is one of their only options.

But it was not given away for free. The bundles cost the same as if you would buy both separately.

EDIT: actually the bundles is 10€/£ less

Bundles from the retailers is totally different than bundles by Sony themselves.

Do we think rachet has become the new physical game that people buy instead of miles?

I would be interested to see how miles does with each new batch of consoles released

I don't think so. It's just that people only buy one game with their new console, so now that they got Ratchet they didn't buy Miles. I think Miles will still be the go-to game to buy in the following months.
