Son Son looks like a Darkstalker, but Amingo and Ruby Fire are definite prototype characters. Just look at Amingo's standing animation and Sasquatch'. It is uncanny.

Still... I wouldn't mind some sort of Monkey spirit monster. I'm pretty sure there Japanese legends that they could use for something like that. Hell, I'd take Son Son in Darkstalkers straight up haha.

It is an absolutely golden opportunity and they need to make it as easy as possible seeing as the cast would be pretty small at first(All 20 original Darkstalkers in the first game).

Ruby Heart would be a sure lock for the sequel if she is not in the Vanilla DSIV.

Man, I was sleeping so I missed the footage. I really really want to try Nova now. No beam assist means that I may be back to square one with Ammy, but he has a reflector assist and overhead right?

I saw this coming from a mile away when they started pushing the "one move for every character!" angle a while back. They are easy fixes, but the game was rushed to hell and back. I'm honestly surprised that the game looks solid after all of this.

Hsien-Ko would be a very solid character if she got the final fixes with hitbox on bombs, predictable item mechanics, pendulum cancel and a better dash. Also, Chris would be amazing if he had a great way to cover the blindspot above him. An easy high tier character in an instant for sure. >_<

I was worried because I was actually getting very comfortable with SRK. It's a pretty awesome place despite a few niggling things here and there.

It definitely is something alright. He is just missing that one and final buff for the blindspot and he'll be godlike in LL.ND's hands.

OK, Nova plays like a faster weaker iron man.but he has those dash moves like cammys drill strike. BUT OH LORD is he weak. at the capcom booths,there are about 8 boothes for umvc3,and the main stage.
of course the main stage has the good players and pros using the old characters plus vergil.
wolverine combos still kill most characters.


everyone else seems to enjoy playing phoenix even though he is very confusing. can't wait to see day 2.hopefully players use more characters.

gaf should make a list of people who can't attend but want those swaggy shirts. like a lottery. >_>.

If you perfect someone, most games display Perfect at the end of the match. MvC3 lacked this and a perfect is a very rare thing, especially in a crazy, three character game like MvC. Some acknowledgment is nice

Poor Arthur...

It is literrally a countdown to death against some characters. Fanatiq beat an Arthur player by waiting out his XF3 gold armor. He used the DLC trick with Storn/Sent as soon as Arthur's gold armor popped and left him in a hard knockdown state. There was literally no way out for Arthur in that situation and it was just terrible.
