She would be more or less solid with the buffs they gave her in Ultimate if they didn't take away her airdash. She is certainly not close to solid in MvC3 though.

I think you might be confusing potential with solid here.

They can nerf Zero if they want I'd still use him because he's fun to play and the character I played with my limited TvC time. Love MMX series and he's great there too, so for me it isn't about his tier rating, but his awesomeness as a character.

It's like Rolento for me in the games he's put in. I don't give a shit about his tiers, because he just plays so fun and looks bad ass. I'm no going out to win EVO, so I want to have fun onlne, and unless they make it so Zero dies in one hit or some weird shit like he can't ever block, then yeah it's pretty safe to say I'd use him no matter what.

Zero going into MvC3 was the character I wanted to form a team around, and the same is true with UMvC3, but now using new characters to do so. Vanilla team was Zero, Deadpool, Sentinel(sometimes chris), and now it will be Zero, Iron Fist, Hawk Eye. I messed around with a lot of other characters, but Zero is the perma slot.

Being safe doesn't mean he can't get opened up, and with lower health it takes one crack for him to get destroyed. Good character, but he's by no means UMvC3's Dark Phoenix.

That's not practical outside of specific team setups though, as far as I know. Then again, he's not a very explored character, so maybe there are things you can do with it to let that happen. Do we even know if his bomb still hits him in UMvC3?

I find it ironic that you say he's not going to be as good as Phoenix, and simultaneously use his health as a justification for why that would be the case.
 
You'll have to go over my posts in the old thread, I remember testing it. I don't think they did on my build, but it was an older build.

It's bad, but at least Spidey can drop like a rock off his airdash with a normal, and still has a much faster web zip. Just going to have to be more creative about getting in. TBH, he DID get in on a lot of characters for free and had massive damage. One of the most underrated characters in Vanilla. He still has weird angles of attack, so I only see this being a really big problem against the best of zoners, IE Hawkeye (who will be on my team anyway) or Trish. I don't mind some matchups being worsened for Spidey if it encourages more thinking in the game overall.

I will miss that delicious airdash, just gotta be more judicious with it :p.

The other 3 though...yeah, pretty big blow. Don't know why Capcom has no love for Morrigan especially.

In other news, Nova's theme is amazing.
 
IMO Chun and Joe dont really need OTG moves since they have alot of floating/relaunch combos, combo might i add, that last forever.

Spidey too, an OTG move was'nt the change he needed.

I don't think anyone's criticizing you for using Zero because you like him as a character. That doesn't change the fact that he's going to be ridiculous in UMvC3. He, along with Doom, are going to be stupid good.

Zero is so S tier in UMVC3 currently it's not even funny. Top 3 returning from MVC3 are Viper, Zero and Doom as said numerous time already.

I would be fine with Doom if they removed his ability to do quadruple relaunches. Viper may be affected by reduced meter gain. Zero is just the best right now but he is also affected by the air dash block change. Oh and he got a health buff too. lol

LOL Wolverine still has a TOD in X Factor LVL1. STILL THE BEST THERE IS!

Did Magneto's Magnetic Tempest have invincibility? It says that they removed his invincibility on the hyper.

Iron Man's j.S appears to have a larger hit box.

Tons of Iron Man buffs spotted including on his Smart Bombs and Repulsor Blasts/Spreads.

It appears Hulk has better combo chains now. Gamma Charges have more armor?

Yeah those Thor changes were suspected for quite some time now but never proven... especially the stuff on the Mighty Punish. Lots of Thor buffs.

Also it appears that Wolverine can't mash cr.L's for hit confirmation.

Mighty spark's recovery time has been improved (really not sure about this one)
Both recovery and start up have been improved on Thor's projectiles Mighty Spark. This has been confirmed visually and by people playing him.

Also his Mighty Strikes either recovery faster, cause more hit stun and/or are faster on start up/take less time to charge. They have definitely improved his Mighty Strikes although it's hard to pin point where exactly.

Loving them Thor buffs.
 
Is there anything else anybody wants translated now, rather than having to wait for somebody better to do it? Some stuff is easy to figure out- anything written in red is a new special move, and stuff in orange denotes a mashable hyper. Let me know- I was just trying to figure out shuma and thor because it seems like there's the least known about them.

Can you clear up the Wolverine nerfs? Especially the first part and the part about "lowest priority".

In fact.... you should do all of them if you can because I see new stuff on everyone (except MODOK lol).

Thor got buffed considerably. IMO they fixed all his problems without actually changing him drastically.

Phoenix:
