Just curious, how are the projections made? Less than 30% of California votes are counted but Obama is projected to win already.

That's just one state out of 50. It's a good start, though. Baby steps. As the older generation goes into the ground, the younger/"wanting to change the bans" on gay/mary j. issues will finally break those grounds.

They have polls exit polls and historical stats.
California has been Blue for a LONG time and both the candidates didn't bother to campaign there. So its just a projection that based on those factors Obama will win Cal.

You know, I might agree with you to some degree if not for the extent of Fox's complete meltdown. Did you see Megyn Kelly stalk off set, walk halfway through the building and chew out some poor sap for calling Ohio? Do you really think Rachel Maddow would have done that? Did you not read Donald Trump calling for people to literally march on Washington?? The reaction on the right is totally insane and needs to be mocked. It's dangerous rhetoric and they should all be fucking ashamed of themselves.
