As I had said in the PoliGAF thread, if Obama wins, the real damage the crappy first debate wrought was convincing the RNC that they could win the presidency and blowing all of their SuperPAC funds on Romney instead of the Senate races.

The wealthy love Romney due to that whole "not wanting to tax them fairly" platform he's running on. It's not surprising that the average Romney donor would give way more than the average Obama donor.

Looking at conservative forums:

I think stage 2 is denial, and stage 3 is anger.
Denial is 1, anger is 2.
Bargaining is #3 where they will find themselves as the numbers start to come in.
# 4. Depression comes the day after the election.

But here's the problem with the left, they run solely on emotion and will refuse to accept (#5 Acceptance), I believe they will revert to #2, Denial and remain there until the next election when Mitt gets a second term for saving the economy.
At which point they will finally accept the fact that the country flat out rejected liberalism and all that entails.

Much of Huseins support came from kids, kids that had no historical perspective from which to base their idea that he was right for the country.
But those kids just got a real lesson in life, they are unemployed, or those that are employed, aren't seeing any movement or actual raises in wage.

Then there is the Independent, people that voted against Bush, even though he wasn't running, they just hated his policies.
And now we have the liberal voter that hates the fact that they put support behind a guy that lied to them, didn't do as he promised.
These voters will do one of two things, either vote against Husein, or not vote at all.

Then as you pointed out, liberalism has proven to be a cancer on the economy, with it's Global warming lie and their move to kill our energy production, a move that is crippling the country.

You're right, they will slowly understand their way is a cancer on the country and accept the fact it simply doesn't work.

If Obama wins, again, it will be the media who elected him. With the corrupt media we have, there is not much we can do except rub it in the faces of those that supported the him when the economy tanks.

Just think though, if Romney wins, people are actually smarter and more tuned into FOX than we thought. .

While this is true ... Gallup had a rather large O shift if this leak is real. People assumed their polls had to come closer to the norm or risk losing their reputation.
