My family's state, Tennessee, now has a super majority in State government. That place is going to get hit with some shit legislation, particularly in regards to education and gay rights..

I'd love to see one of the parties end that stupid witch hunt. The party that does that gets my vote. One would think it would be Republicans, but afaik, Reagan fucking started it.

I completely agree; glad to see the same sentiment. This is ultimately a false division based off of ideas vs. reality. Eh, not sure what else to say.

The cynic in me thinks it will largely be for naught. I think just confirming new treasury and state secretary's is going to be a hell of a knock down fight.

I'm just happy the supreme court has the possibility of swinging back toward sanity.

Even if that's all I get for four years I'll honestly be ok.

some people may laugh you evidently don't know how serious this is, . i'll always be proud to say I"m a christian , but our America that was begun with people that honored God is no more, we may very well become a muslum country, the ones that predict the world to end in Dec. is incorrect, because the world is not going to end, But the Lord Jesus is going to come get His children and we will be raptured out of this world, and the ones left behind and had laughed will be weaping. so its time to realize this is a serious time in our lives and to be prepared and lead our children and loved ones and friends in the right way so all will be ready for the Lord's return. God's Grace is our Hope.

Just like in 2008, I an extremely proud of my country tonight.

Now everyone, can we pay attention again in the 2014 mid-terms and not just every 4 years? Mid terms are very important, too.

Republicans dropping the religious zealots and attacking the drug war/prison for profit destructive cycle would be a fast way to get me on board.
