I'm a fan of the theory that Bloodraven is ALL the deities somehow (the ones that have revealed themselves, so: R'hllor, the trees, and the Great Other), and is playing everyone against one another to his own ends.
It's my favourite theory, tooI think this theory is interesting, but then the "why" comes into effect. It's never really revealed how old the R'hllor religion is. They already have great temples and a culture established when the show stars, so you'd imagine its at least older than Bloodraven. You could say, "but he's using the flames to trick them!" but I understood it as flamereading being a norm of the religion since the beginning, so there had to be some initial magic that predates BR.
worshipping the Seven is for the birds
R'hllor is where it's at
even the fucking trees are preferable to the Seven
useless cunts
SHE WAS BORN IN A STORM GOT IT GET IT GOOD
She was born during a storm.
She was born during a really, really bad storm.
She was born during a storm. Simple as that, really.
There was a big storm on Dragonstone the night she was born I think..
I still don't understand.
Game of Thrones is an intensely modern show, both in form and content. But its worth noting how strongly it resists the sort of online hyper-dissection that can either carry a series aloft or tear it apart, limb by limb, like a starving mob in Fleabottom. The show proceeds at its own stately pace, telling its own knotty story. Rather than be concerned that future seasons might mar the world that Martin, Benioff, and Weiss have painstakingly created, its probably healthier for your sake and mine to focus instead on the majesty of that world as it exists now. The night may well be dark and full of terrors, but rest easy: Were still hours away from dusk.
The Bottom Line: Game of Thrones proves yet again why it's one of the rare genre series to not only be taken seriously but to prove its worth season after season. It's well-written, well-acted and has created so many wonderful characters -- who, of course, will probably die. This is a show with no rules -- and that's partly why tension and expectation are both always running high.
I still don't understand.

of all the male actors only he seems to be getting some modelling work while the ladies are in every magazine.

God, I wanna slap that pretty face of his.
Doubtful. After the RW I don't think most non-reader fans are going to be prepared for the rollercoaster ride this Season is going to be. They're mostly just looking at episode 9 to be the Big Event of the Season.^ I wonder if non-book readers will connect the dots with the whole "Jon's in a commanding position" thing

Good point.I don't know, I think Jon becoming Lord Commander is pretty expected at this point.
I still don't understand.
Joffrey's death is going to smack people around the head. It was shocking enough in ASOS, but with the leeches and Robb having died a matter of pages before, it was mitigated. Not so here- no one's going to be expecting anything significant for episode 2 of the new season. The Unsullied thread is going to go absolutely mad.
You know nothing, Dany M.

I don't know, given that he is supposedly the most hated character on the show, people are likely to be very pleased by it, haha.
To be honest, the one death that really caught me by surprised was Tywin's, not to mention the circumstances. Looking forward to see how they pull that off on TV. No idea if it's gonna fit in this season though, I read the books a couple months ago, my memory is somewhat fuzzy on the chain of events that lead to it.
They're going to be confused about who actually poisoned him.
oh they've already laid the foundation for it on the show. tywin acting especially shitty to tyrion when he demands casterly rock, all the shit concerning his mother, tyrion's already got the fuel. the trial for joffrey's murder and finding shae in tywin's bed is gonna be the fire. the only thing i think they'll really have trouble with is shae. she seems much more loving in the show and there isn't really any indication that she'd turn on him at all.
Well, regarding Shae, there's a shot in the last preview Cornballer just posted, where you can see Tyrion backing away from Shae as she tries to kiss him, so there'll probably at least be some kind of falling out between them. Now let's hope it's big enough to justify her betraying him and sleeping with Tywin. The shot is at 0:21 - 0:22.
edit:
At 0:21 - 0:22.
