So what would you guys think if Jon doesn't get revived? Were all in the mindset that he does get revived. But what if GRRM really did kill him off?

Not to mention great background music while in the temple.

I agree I think the original Jaqen theme and that new thing from the hall of faces are the best.

Her scenes have been very good but I think the book readers are liking them way more than the show only viewers. I don't think they did a good job of explaining what's going on or what the faceless men are about. (no explanation of their origin, or their code of not knowing who they kill, and no good explanation of how they assassinate after someone gives them something of great value and not necessarily money)

The scenes have been fun to watch and well acted but I understand why its hard for show viewers to invest into it.

Like how have they still not explained that the Faceless Men were former slaves who helped create Braavos, especially with all the conflict Dany is having with slaves and masters in Meeren. Its the perfect time to juxtapose it.

He won't be in the show right? :(

Then how Twywin reforged ned's great sword into 2 swords?, also in the world of fire and ice its says that there is about 227 valyrian steel weapons in westeros.

There are a few blacksmiths who can rework valerian steel but there are none left who can craft it.

Imagine a continent without steel. You could rework some off the stuff foreigners bring into your country but you wouldn't know how to craft it in the first place.

Next episode? Blood of the Dragon.

Season finale will definitely be Throne for the Game.

Throne for the Game is such a weird, nonsensical title I have to wonder if it's being edited to hide some spoiler.

Sounds like a good song to have after Tommen dies. I think that would shock everyone.

Speaking of Tommen, have we seen that trailer shot of Marg in prison being held by (what appeared to be) Tommen's arms? Is that going to be an episode 10 scene? Seems like a weird moment to make the cut for the finale.

Surely the high sparrow won't leave her in a prison cell for the finale. I can see them executing her brother though.

Here's an interesting theory: http://www.reddit.com/r/asoiaf/comments/38iivu/spoilers_all_the_littlefingervarys_switch_i_think/

What if Littlefinger kills Kevan and Pycelle in the show instead of Varys?

Do you guys think they'll kill off the entire Meereen crew in the pit?

They're definitely all in that pit except for Tyrion.
Please kill of Greyworm and Missandei at least so we don't get any time taken up by that love plot anymore. Hell at this point I don't think I'd mind if they killed off Daario. Would be a good explanation for the Euron casting next season.

Varys showing up in Dorne would make much more sense in the show than him showing up in KL. If he thinks he lost Tyrion, it would follow that he was working with Doran and heads to Dorne to try and salvage the Dany/Martell alliance (provided he knows about it?)

Tommen kills Kevan and Pycelle, after revealing himself to be one of Varys' Little Birds.

Damn, the ante has just been upped.

At this point, I'll be glad if they lower the death count.

It seems like the following characters are at the very least going to be killed in the next two episodes:

-Jorah
-Daario
-Jon with or without resurrection
-Kevan
-Pycelle
-Meryn Trant
-Balon Greyjoy

The following characters are at extreme risk due to their proximity to at risk characters:

-Missandei
-Shireen
-Selyse
-Davos Seaworth
-Podrick
-Mace Tyrell
-Edd
-Olly
-The Sans Snakes
-Bronn

The following characters could go either way, depending on what kind of mood the writers were in when they read GRRM's notes.

-Stannis
-Theon
-Ramsay
-Brienne
-Yara Greyjoy

Stand-bys that could die for some reason or other but not affect the plot that much:

-Walda Frey
-Myranda
-Polyvar
-Lancel Lannister

Characters that haven't entered a stage of their story where their death would make any sense:

-Littlefinger
-Varys
-Loras Tyrell

Since he seems like a guest star, they could kill

-High Sparrow

Absolutely will not die in episodes 9 or 10 under any circumstances (I was joking earlier)

-Tommen
-Margaery
-Qyburn
-Tyrion
-Dany
-Arya
-Jaqen
-Cersei
-Jaime
-Dorann
-Areo Hotah
-Olenna Tyrell
-Sansa

Yes. Except Jorah, who survives because he has the "Greyscale" status effect, which grants immunity to Fire, but also inflicts a hidden Doom status which kills you when the hidden timer is up.

What's this about Jorah dying? Do I even want to know?

He can't die because he becomes Azjorah Ahai. Or is Daario taking that role too?

Sorry bro, you're wrong. D&D are hacks and this is the worst season of nothing but fanfic bullshit.

I totally agree with you but it seems we are in the minority.

I agree with you guys somewhat.

Areas where I like D&D changes:
The Wall
Arya
Dany
Brienne

Do not like:
Sansa
Dorne/Jamie/Sand Snakes

Hey guys, we like crazy tinfoil hat theories in this thread, right?

On Iksenpets' suspicions, I went and watched a trailer.

https://youtu.be/C5BR_TqWYrc?t=21

I watched it and watched it again and I couldn't get this comment out of my head. Why is Margaery on her knees, seemingly content, with Tommen's arm around her waist?

It seems like an odd plot shift from being imprisoned. She should be crying or wishing vengeance.

The most logical explanation is that she is simply glad she "won" against Cersei. That's what the 2 second clip looks like, and if that's all it is, it makes sense. That's how they'll end it.

However, has anyone entertained the idea that Margaery has completely lost her marbles in this scene? Like seriously distraught. Over what? Well, and I know this is going to sound ridiculous...but you don't see Tommen's face. She has draped herself over his torso.

Again, this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but is there even a slight possibility that Tommen would hang himself in his room?

Yes I know, but humor me.

Take your tinfoil elsewhere Ser, this is a place for honest speculation and discussion not base born conjecture and kitchen gossip. This is not r/asoif.

I'm not sure if this is more or less crazy than the tinfoil I was throwing around in my head. I was thinking what if Tommen visits her, and Margaery decides that her best path to revenge against Cersei is to strangle Tommen right there in her cell? Hit Cersei where is really hurts. She's already going down, why not commit an actual crime first.

Edit: Dammit, now my ridiculous tinfoil is at the top of the page.

Don't worry. My stupid theories are legion. They will protect us both.

Seriously though, I can't imagine a more satisfying cliffhanger than killing the king to end the season.

No one would miss him, but no one would see it coming except for us.

Tommen is standing with his arms around hers and his thumb moves.

Is this a theory or is it somewhere that Greyscale protects you from fire?

It is now canon.

Unfortunately, Dany has already flown from the arena before she can see that he not only survived, but is fireproof.

"Here I stand."

I don't think so, but D&D sure are pushing the greyscale angle. It's been mentioned several times about Shireen, and I assume there's a reason for Jorah having it. And Jorah isn't being fatalistic about it (beyond continually lifting his sleeve); he seems to expect to survive the pit fighting. Greyscale isn't really deeply explored in the books that I recall, though it might figure into what GRRM has told them about TWOW.

Even before this Jorah twist, I saw a lot of speculation that Connington was going to start a greyscale plague in Westeros. Them giving it to Jorah in his place has me pretty convinced that's where it's going. And the motivation maps over really nicely. Connington is so consumed by desire to see Aegon on the throne that he's willing to expose everyone to his fatal disease, and Jorah is pretty much the same way with Sany.

Would probably kill off Missandei, that romance plot has to serve something right?

And then gives Selmy's job to GW after Dany leaves town.

In other news, Jeremy Pondeswa has decided to take a vacation with his family.

Poor Podeswa, his stuff was really good minus that Dorne fight scene, which he probably couldn't help. He can't help that he had to direct some scenes that no one was ever going to like.
