Oh lighten up. Nothing wrong with a little T&A, so long as the game is still decent enough. And from what I hear, Rumble Roses is exactly that.

Hell, the designer of the game said it's 20% gameplay and 80% whacking off.
 
BMXXX ring a bell??? DOAs commercials werent as bad. They made it seem as rumble roses was made specifically for T&A.

According to the developer interview in PSM it pretty much was made for just that. If you own a pair of testicles, why are you complaining?

Er...what makes you think that's anything new? You forget about Sega's ads for 32X? The strategically covered woman for a Saturn ad? Sony using Toshinden's Sophia in PSX's first couple of months? Or how about Orchird's firm bod donning the sides of the KI2 cabinets? And all of that was just from 1995 (save for the 32X ads, which were from '94).

I want to see the commercial in it's entirety. I just caught the ass end of it flipping through channels last night. Good to see Konami advertising it, as it's a fun game to boot.

And since we're on the topic, why is it that you insist on picking a cause du jour and singlemindedly running it into the ground? Whether it's obsessive Shantae pimping or your current issues with Itagaki, you insist on repeating yourself at every opportunity, as abrasively as possible, to the point where any valid points you're making are drowned out by the sheer obnoxiousness of your presentation. Try throttling back the strident tone a couple of notches in your posts and what you're saying might make more of an impression than how you're saying it.

Funny that you should single me out of the numerous voices guilty of doing exactly what you accuse me of. Your advice is conveniently applicable to the rest of the posters here as well.

If video games want to be a true mainstream medium there has to be room for everything.

Cinema has a grand tradtion of sexist trash. As do music, comedy, writing, photography, etc.

I'd wager that Russ Meyer would have loved Rumble Roses.

Man, the game is a blatant sexual innunedno game, so what's the big deal? It's no different or worse then what the DOA games have become.

I mean, do you complain about the half naked chick standing in some snow-strew countryside that graces Everquest covers and giant cardboard promos? I think that image is as sexually blatant as anything else out there, but nobody seems to care. With the Rumble Roses and DOA games, the sexual conoctations are pretty obvious, though it's slightly tongue in cheek. Since they're rated appropriately, I don't see what the big deal is.
