Using US consoles on UK TVs

Hope im posting this in the right place...... so heres the scenario:

I live between jamaica and the UK and US. But my main home these days is jamaica. I have UK sockets in my jamaican house (by choice. I just think they are better, safer with kids around) . My gaming TV is a samsung Q80 series (2019 model, and its beauitful with my one X out here...Ill upgrade it eventually but its not a priority right now) I want to get a series X for use that same samsung to replace the one X I have out here. Its quicker and easier (also cheaper) to just order one from the states to my US address and then send it down here to jamaica, from my current position and I want one here, ASAP!

So what im wondering is can a US bought series X work on a UK bought TV? would I just need to change the power cord for a UK one for it to work? it wont blow up the TV or vice versa will it? help me out here, gaffers!

Thanks in advance! :messenger_fistbump:

PS... quitely day dreaming about playing redfall with a plate of jerk chicken wings and a jug of rum punch by my side. help me figure out this UK/US plug thing so I can make that a real thing within the next two weeks!

Grab yourself one of these and the console will detect the changes itself and modulate the power, connection wise HD and beyond resolutions mean that it's not an issue anymore.

I've lived in the US (110v) and Europe (220v) and have brought EU consoles, TVs, stereos, etc., to the US and vice versa, and yes you'll be fine. For example, I brought my XSS from Germany to the US last year, plugged it into US power with a US cord and it booted right up with no issue. Brought it back to Germany, plugged in the EU cord and it booted up again with no problems.

If you can't find a UK cable for the console with ease, you can always just use a US to UK adapter like this in a pinch.

You'll have no issues with pictures being displayed on modern TVs. For voltages, I am not sure what Jamaica uses so I can't help you too much on that.

Just what I’m looking for. My house is wired for U.K. sockets aswell as US so im often mixing and matching devices. My toaster is from emetics but my air fryer is British. I think a few of these will be handy long term. Thanks for the heads up on this cable in particular!
