mmo's nowadays are very safe environments and are usually filled with people who are....more mentally challenged. It's why they're brainless easy so natually anything like these kind of things are normal. That being said, fuck grummz.

Every game has the right to shape their ToS to suit whatever they feel is best for their players. If people lack the emotional control not to break it or lack the creativity to get around it, don't complain when you get the boot. Trolling people or just flat out being awful isn't a virtue.

Calling me a green rat is physical harm, please just leave me be and let me play my Series S in peace, I ca t wait to play the new GTA6 onit aswell 😍🟢💪.

I still remember playing Ultima Online where when you died ppl could loot your corpse and leave you naked with nothing. You know, that armor and weapon you was wearing that took you days to get all gone in an instant. And ppl dealt with it just fine. Imagine the snowflakes having to deal with that now.

You're not defending a moral high ground, you're just siding with the digital landlord because you think obedience is wisdom. It isn't

My brother, teabagging from google ai says this, "In the context of video games, "teabagging" refers to a player character rapidly crouching over the body of another player-controlled character as a form of humiliation or taunt after a kill."

The reason he got banned was nonconsent(edit: I actually misread harassment, I'm not sure if non-consent was the reason and if not maybe I'm wrong)

If the teabagging was nonconsent do you not think the in-game incapacitation of the character was as well?

"You can kill me but don't dare crouch over me again and again afterwards!" said no one ever.

It is ridiculous, how is it even defined? Alternate crouch and stand twice within 5 seconds is a banable offence?

People who defend this will get my nutsack on their head and be crowned king nutty.

I got taken into FFXIV jail once because someone was offended I teabagged (/squats) them in PvP. But I explained to the GM that my finger slipped and I accidentally pressed an emote when I meant to mount up.

He believed me, and I continue to tbag to this day.

This is why you shouldn't play online games.

Say you are playing a game like this on PS5 and Sony bans you for it. You would lose all your games.

Screw multiplayer. If you play long enough, inevitably you will lose all your games.

I hope everyone realises that there are only 2 scenarios here.

a nutjob moderator doing what nutjob moderators do best.

or

The game's numbers are dwindling a bit, they saw grummz has an account, essentially free marketing by getting people all riled up.

I used to play ultima online back in the days where you could tbag, pull up a knife and just dismember the corpse of the player you just killed in PvP. This generation is so fucking weak

I'm saying every establishment has the right to make it's own rules, just like your house. And I think only fools willingly go in without meaning to follow that.

It's a little disingenuous to point out the intents and context of an action to just argue for the merit of the action itself. Lmao, we all know what Tea bagging is and what it's meant for.

Friend of a friend joined our party one time and halfway through the first game dude sounded legit shook as he said "He.. he just teabagged me... I don't understand how someone could be that toxic". Could not mute myself in time before I shat myself laughing. Never played with that dude again. Like hey, if you have trouble tanking a racial slur or something... okay maybe you're a little soft. But teabagging? What a pussy.

it'd appear to've been a while since a number of members of our western culture were, y'know, truly, genuinely 'harmed physically'. otherwise, they might actually know better...

Both you and the other party make good points, but people like to take sides too fast (instead of considering two answers as right) on a forum that has it's own set of rules.
