People want to believe what Alex Jones tells them without any thought. Control the media, control the perception of people's lives.

If people care so much about this situation why not look at all possibilities? This isn't about Alex, people want to judge him but what about his information? I see people bash him but never prove his info wrong. I'm not a Alex Jones fan but when some provides interesting information why not read it?

Not sure if this has been posted. It's footage of that school supposedly being used by "terrorists", loaded with ammo, guns and explosives, complete with a hand dug underground tunnel and rooms where they sleep and stock supplies.

It's footage from Syrian State TV (I think) and while I do think the Syrian Government can load up weapons and shit in there to make it look bad, seeing how recent the event is, it would have taken them a long time to "plant" that tunnel there. Especially how big it is.

It looks like a completely differant school. Still anyone using a school for such things is a shit.

People prove his stuff wrong all the time, it's just that Jones and his supporters have set themselves up as if you disagree with us you are part of the conspiracy, so they never actually listen. Then a few days later will trot out the same arguments that were debunked previously.

I know Alex Jones isn't a popular name around here but anyone with a brain or two eyes should honestly read the latest articles on his site claiming the rebels took responsibility for the chemical attacks.
I have a drawing on my website showing how Obama killed the Lindbergh baby. You guys should check that out while you're at it.

French TV airs the truth when they incompetently invite the wrong guest.

France's incentive for Syria is very similar to Qatar and Turkey, they want a gas pipeline to supply Europe and break the monopoly of Gazprom.

Germany on the other hand prefers to rely on Putin than some Wahhabi Emir.

Wow. Amazing.

Yet the bbc managed to not see any of that. I would rather go with the bbc than the mouthpiece for Assad.

There is a hole in the closet(?) that leads to a giant dug out room.

As I said, I can see the government placing weapons in there to make it look like a hideout, but with how recent this event was, it's impossible to dig that up so quickly.

It looks like a completely differant school. Still anyone using a school for such things is a shit.

That's possible. Maybe they are showing that other schools are being used. Idk. I'm not fluent in Arabic, so if someone can translate.

Even if the rebels were using the school to store supplies and such, using a incendiary airstrike at a time when you know kids would be in the school is still pretty heinous.

Both you and Rustynail massively misinterpreted what I was saying and you thought fit to throw in an insult as well.

Friend, I wasn't even talking about you. The way that issue was portrayed was "look how horrible that is, how barbaric. Who are these rebels and what are they capable of?", when really it was an act of no consequence and just bloody red meat for someone's framing of the agenda. So kindly quiet that noise down, thanks.

The part of my brain that filters good information from bad information tells me that Alex Jones is a peddler of bad information.

If he provided info saying the sky was blue I'd have to look up and check.

It is not up to every random critic to prove Alex Jones wrong, it's up to Alex Jones to prove himself right. He fails miserably at it.

Good joke guys.

People are so much in denial or just brainwashed I swear. The same joke that led to the war on Iraq when the US alleged that Saddam's government preserved war heads and sent UN experts and there was fucking nothing but the US went in anyway. Can't people draw parallels here, why is it so hard for people to see the whole picture?

Whats this I am reading on twitter.

Muhammad Aslan, head of SAA Chemical branch in Damascus is being reported as killed.

Payback bitch!!!

I know Alex Jones isn't a popular name around here but anyone with a brain or two eyes should honestly read the latest articles on his site claiming the rebels took responsibility for the chemical attacks.

I've read it so others don't have to. It's actually referring to an article written by a Jordanian freelance journalist and a guy named Dale Gavrak, who writes for Associated Press. So certainly not a conspiracy loon. He's even written for the Times of Israel, somewhat ironically.

The article basically cites accounts on the ground that claim the weapons were given to the rebels by the Saudis, and they accidentally set off an explosion while handling them.

It names Saudi prince Bandar, an American-educated, highly influential Saudi Ambassador to the U.S and friend of the CIA, as the main culprit in funding and training rebels to fight in Syria, as well as providing them with chemical weapons.

Here it is, from its original source:

Getting a 404 error on that link

There's been a chemical fucking strike in Syria, do you deny that?

Also give me one good reason as to why the U.S would actually want to be involved in this clusterfuck.

Uh huh sure, apology accepted

You can take that apology and shove it up your ass, where you fabricated it. I won't apologize to you when you're the one who's mistaken.

I lack reading comprehension, as if you're the only possible inhabitant of an ivory tower to take the wrong impression from a shitty news story. Get over yourself.

You really don't need to apologise further. It's fine.

Where is the problem? - It`s terrible but some guys here abuse this kids for her war drums.

None of this kids wants more dead people, they want a diplomatic solution.

Israel used white phosphorus in gaza, attack israel.
A civil war is awful but an attack is no solution.
It is scandalous to misuse these children for his cause.

if you are trying to piss me off - then you have succeeded.

As sad as this is, my country (the U.S.) has lost all credibility and goodwill (both from its own people and the international community) to get involved into another conflict -- even if for supposed humanitarian reasons. I say supposed, because while I have no doubt this SHOULD be a humanitarian crisis for the rest of the world, the U.S. has too many interests (and have in the past) lied too many times to get into conflicts for other strategic reasons.

The tragedy is that it's come to this. That in the face of a possible true crisis, we can't be trusted to deal with it. And honestly, the U.S. has turned a blind eye to humanitarian crisis before, so it again makes you question why they are so adamant in going in THIS time (and that's the question we'll always be asking from now on) after Vietnam and Iraq.

Set aside your hatred of Alex Jones and read this article

Now this actually isn't an article by Alex but one of his editors, now if you indeed care about this situation, find the holes in this articles claim, I don't care about how you feel about Alex, what about the information?

No other news sites seem to have picked up on it, the link to the original article is dead and the backup leads to an article on Infowars.

It has credibility issues

I just find it amusing that some want to attack Syria because of the phosphorus but israel is fine. Oh I forgot, they are bad Arabs, UAE are good Arabs.
Can you specifically point out people in this thread that were or are OK with Israels WP shelling?

Israeli paranoia. We are neighbors to Isreal. Since the US and Israel are inseparable they want the Assad regime which is anti-Isreali to be overthrown because Syria is the bridge between Iran and militias like Hezbollah and Hammas once that bridge is removed they can put in charge whomever their heart desires. Ofcourse once that is accomplished Syria will be a shell of it's former self you know like Iraq and Libya today. Ofcourse Iran will be targeted next because it's on the axis of evil.

Oh yeah if you can see reason then you may understand why our government using chemical weapons sounds so appealing to the US.

Edit: Oh yeah, the oil is just a bonus.

You better remove that link. You're going to get banned. I'm fine with considering the original article, as the people writing it have serious credentials, but let's forget about Alex Jones.

So I've been looking and I've not seen anything other than that one infowars article about the Saudis giving the rebels the chemical weapons.

From the Alex Jones article,
“We were very curious about these arms. And unfortunately, some of the fighters handled the weapons improperly and set off the explosions,” ‘J’ said.

So several of these weapons just happened to acidentally detonate in a tunnel(?) simultaneously.

It's impressive how they managed to make it look like an actual artillery attack, with the shells bending from the impact in front.

Also it's pretty weird that Prince Bandar would be supplying the rebels with Soviet munitions.

The whole world stood there nobody said a word, the UN never dared to intervene. So why not attack Israel. But no that one is a sacred cow.

Actually if you go into one of GAF's illustrious I/P discussion threads, you'll see a lot of people from around the whole world, saying quite a few things. And many blaming Israel, but also accurately predicting that no one in authority would hold them responsible.

so no, this fantasy that everyone loves Israel and what they do, is false.

If true then take three guesses how he managed to die suddenly and so soon after what some suspect was a botched chemical attack.

They're not even old Soviet stock; they seem to be totally unique to the Syrian military.

Well then its obvious, the rebels overtook a Syrian stronghold, then gave the Saudis these artillery shells in order that the Saudis could give them back to rebels to be used in a false flag operation in order to implicate Obama in covering up the 32nd Baskin Robbins flavor

You could see in the video shown the other day just how big the rockets are and how heavy. They had to be lifted with a small crane onto the back of a truck to be launched.

That video is also good for you, stuck in your good Islamist Arab, bad Nationalist Arab perspective.

That's a fantastic analysis. The "good" and "bad" arab perspective is broken.

I'm dealing with some conspiracy theorists myself right now. Can you point me to anything that explains the probable origin of these shells based on the photos?

When are we going to add infowars to banned sites? It brings nothing but baseless speculation to discussion and throws everyone off tangent.

The US kills kids/innocents with drone strikes as well.

Only difference is that the US government does it in the name of freedom.

War is terrible and my heart goes out to all those affected by it.
