So, uh, I have this friend. We'll call him JokySteve. Well, JokySteve really enjoys Everybody's Golf but he's not terribly good at it. I think he has 2, maybe 3 crowns and he hasn't even finished the gold tier. I laugh at him with my manly golf skills, obviously.
I feel for JokySteve though. Are there any clubs / balls that my friend could buy that are ridiculously overpowered / accurate? Y'know, just to make those last few rounds a bit easier for myself friend.
its really just about playing the game a lot. that way you'll get better at knowing how much power/angle to compensate due to wind speeds, angle of ball lie, or how much the hole is above/below you.
personally I prefer straight hitters, such as the asian girl or pandora in the expert character group...and i typically equip them with a grass club which will boost control, and a big air ball. i have good and bad days with impact, sometimes i can hits in 40s sometimes ill be hitting 30s. only once have i hit 50% and it wasnt on the crown course
another tip ( if you're not above it) is to use easy mode... it allows you to focus and get better without the stress of competition from cheating ai. I got almost all of the stars without easy mode, and then halfway through going for crowns i threw on easy mode, and it really makes it a world of difference and more enjoyable in my eyes. now whether i need easy mode or not ive kept it on.
theres GREAT page someone once posted in an old thread explaining the game in depth, but i failed to book mark it. I just know the website has a black background and lots of example images and math. maybe someone here has it still. might be lingering in the HSG OT.
if you are going for crowns. just take it one at a time. pick out what you think is doable and focus on that one till you beat it, then move on. and if you end up having issues with a hole, practice that hole with different wind/speed till you can birdie almost every time.
edit: also, classic swing meter ftw!
