Watch_Dogs 2 |OT| .HTML

There's an awful lot to remember in terms of gameplay.....controls, menu's, options etc etc.....As some have mentioned the sounds mix is all over the place but also somewhat bad implementation of things....Surprising...

There needs to be volume sliders. The voices are basically much louder than everything else is which is annoying.
Argh, no separate volume sliders? The ability to adjust voice, sound effects and music volumes individually should be a minimum standard at this point.

Just started playing . Still going to take some time to adjust to the driving , feels similar to the first , so much for massive vehicle improvements .

Also first openworld game where I am dressing my guy in the most rediculous outfits , normally I try to dress myself really well but here I am just choosing the most craziest outfits I can find :)

Can anyone comment on how the city feels? From the review videos it looked like citizens and traffic were sparse at best.

Didn't know you could do this!

After the video I kept driving some more, hanging around building rooftops, hahah

It's weird. Sometimes there's a lot of people, sometimes it's empty. In the video I posted above, you can see there's not that many people, but just a couple minutes left I was moving around some areas where I kept bumping on people all the time because there were so many...

I'm on the verge of buying it ... but then I remember the horrible looking characters and their attitude...

Too edgy, too hipster for me ...

Doesn't it turn off any of you guys ? I can't take any character seriously.

No. Because thats the point. The wackiness is apart of the game its everywhere lol.

I'm enjoying playing dressup

Loosen up dude...damn...it's supposed to be artsy and shit. I love it.

Are there normal clothes in the game? Not just ugly hipster clothing?

There's some really good biker gear. Leathers, jeans and the like. That's what I was wearing before I decided to embrace the chaos

(I had my screenshots set to 4k at the time I took that one so it looks a bit ass)

@Ufo8mycat

From my experience jaggies are mostly gone and the stuff that is there I could only see in very specific circumstances. It's not something you notice while playing.

Here on PS4 I keep getting a pop up in game that my connection to ubi servers has been disconnected. Probably due to my shitty chinese internet. No way to make this message disappear?

For all the people pointing to an AC2 like leap in quality, there doesn't seem to be much excitement? I'm wondering if still isn't quite hitting for people in the way that game did upon release. If memory serves, despite people's disappointment with the first game, AC2 seemed to catch like wildfire. Watch Dogs 2's hype seems notably muted by comparison.

It strikes me as strange, because the game itself looks pretty incredible - like Watch Dogs 1 tossed together in a blender with Mr. Robot and HBO's Silicon Valley. I suppose the first game sounded great on paper too, but still - but clearly this is better.

It'll be interesting to see how the conversation develops. My instinct is to pick it up, but my memories of the first game are pretty off-putting.

The style isn't my cup of tea either but it fits the setting and is at least more memorable than Beige McBland in the first game.

is there anyway to see your stats? I think i accidently killed someone while escaping the cops, I felt bad so i got myself killed but im not sure if it ruined my no kill run.
I know theirs no achievement for it BUT in my head canon marcus wouldn't kill anyone. anyway uploading my dapper marcus now

If I had to guess, I'd say its a mix of people really hating Watch Dogs 1 when it didn't live up to its hype as well as people not liking that they are not doing an serious tone and went more fun and light-hearted with this entry's tone. As well as people not liking the look of the characters. Ever since we got a glimpse there has been a lot of posts where people were turned off by the "hipster" or "edgy" look.

First game took itself way too seriously. I'm glad they lightened up.

Yea, playing the first game now and holy shit, its the most dour videogame I think I've played. So self-serious, joyless, and constantly pushing how incriminating technology is in the most surface level manner. Aiden's "revenge" tale is full of logic holes and you are constantly dealing with the biggest scum on the planet on both sides of the journey. Also, as someone that grew up in downtown Chicago for most of my life, the representation of that city is questionably off. Major landmarks are recognizable(minus the use of licensing) but it really lacks the feel of inhabiting that city at all. SF appears far closer to the real deal in WD2.

Still kind of enjoying it despite a lot of these issues for whatever reason. I don't feel they went far enough with the hacking as car chases/escapes have me 'stumbling' on hack opportunities that never seem to help moreso than feeling like I am using my abilities tactfully and in interesting ways to escape. Kind of enjoy camping out on foot and using hacking to thin the herd with explosions and lure points though. Collectibles are probably what I enjoy most, witnessing the worst of humanity through privacy hacking or solving light environmental puzzles and mysteries at least is stupid fun compared to the main campaign. It's definitely on the lower end of open world experiences, but I can't seem to stop playing...

Played through the tutorial last night before bed and loved it. Driving over the bridge into SF was amazing, can't wait to explore.

Looks great on my Pro and runs perfectly well as far as I can tell. The change in protagonist and story/tone seems excellent so far, I personally really liked WD except for Aiden as a character and the main plot of the game (especially as the vigilantism never felt right and conflicted with the open world hooks so badly), so for me this is looking great so far.

Probably going to pick this up after work, with my Gamers Club at BB and I got a $15 GC, I can grab this for around 30. Just not sure if I want to get this for my XBO S or PS4 Pro.

Keep the impressions coming!

I am really cold feet about buying 60 $ open-world after Mafia III. :( But this one seems fun.

Please give us more impression !

I second this. Honest impressions are what I need as well. Worth $60? Wait for a sale? I can buy it right now for $37 with BB Unlocked and $10 gift cert. Should I get if I hated Watch Dogs 1 but love GTA 5? Thinking of buying either this or Dishonored 2, but can't quite make a decision. It would help if I can get an opinion of someone who is playing both games.
