What is your the most anticipated game as of right now?

Then there are some others (Nioh 3, Showa American Story, SacriFire, Aeterna Lucis, ROMEO is a Dead Man, Elliot), but Trails Beyond the Horizon is for sure the main one I can't wait to play.

It's definitely Crimson Desert for me, I think it will be one of the best open worlds we've ever seen, everytime they release new footage it just screams banger to me and overall it just looks like one of the most technically impressive games this gen.

I really love that they are using completely unique game engine - BlackSpace

Gonna be greedy and choose two games:

1. .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND
Like the devs, music and aesthetic. Not really sure if the gameplay will click with me though.

2. Nivalis
I like simulation games but most games in this genre are a real crapshoot. This game's release date has been pushed back multiple times so I'm a little concerned.

I already answered, but since everybody else is listing multiple games, this one is a close second:

Unannounced: Whatever Sandfall and Larian do next. Whatever the next Expeditions game turns out to be.

Vapourware: KOTOR remake, Eclipse, Squadron 42, TES6

Actually coming out: 🤷‍♀️

The big ones for me are Resident Evil Requiem, Nioh 3, Onimusha, and Phantom Blade Zero.

2026 is also a year where I'm really looking forward to a lot of smaller and indie titles; Witchbrook, The Florist, Hellmart, Wildblue Skies, and Alabaster Dawn.

Edit: Forgot about WoW Midnight. Looking forward to player housing.

Honestly, a mind-blowing remake of Ocarina of Time next year would make my gaming hobby complete. I only beat the game once on the N64.

#1 is pretty easy right now. Definitely Tsukihime -the other side or red garden-, coming to console and maybe PC in the year 20xx.

It's a pure VN and not really a game but whatever.

Silent Hill 1 Remake is my no.1 followed closely by The Witcher 4.

As for sooner released games, Slay the Spire 2, Hellraiser, Mouse P.I, Unwell. A lot of smaller games and lots of roguelikes. (And the free update plus maybe paid DLC for Clair Obscure Expedition 33)

If The Wolf Among Us 2 showed signs of life again I would be very excited to play that.

I'm a PC gamer so GTA6 isn't worth bothering about for me, yet, but then once its on consoles I can see if it is good or not. Resident Evil 9 also doesn't fill me with excitement, but hoping it surprises me.

Maybe I'm out of the loop or they're indie games but I don't recognise a lot of the names.

Can't say I'm hyped for anything at this moment. I'm struggling to think of anything. It was Onimusha but most of what I've seen is kinda not what I want, just very Soulsy looking.

Ah, but maybe Black Myth. But I haven't even finished 1.

Stellar blade 2, Blood borne 2, Halflife 3, Phantom blade, Pragmata, GTA 6, Wolverine, MSFS2024 VR mode, and ILL.

The only (announced) games I anticipate at all are:

GTA VI
Intergalactic
Terminator 2D: No Fate
Elder Scrolls VI
Fallout 5

And

Fallout 3 remake (not officially announced)

If I had to point to one game that genuinely stands out as the most anticipated right now, it would be Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). Unlike many titles that generate hype in niche circles, GTA 6 has captured global attention in a way few games ever do. Every leak, trailer, and official update sends the entire gaming world into a frenzy, making it the most universally anticipated upcoming release by a massive margin.

What makes GTA 6 such a phenomenon is the decade-long gap since GTA V, a game that became one of the best-selling entertainment products in history. Players have spent years imagining what Rockstar could accomplish with modern hardware richer worlds, more dynamic AI, deeper storytelling, and an evolutionary leap in open-world design. The confirmed setting, characters, and tone only amplify excitement, suggesting a vibrant, neon-soaked world packed with personality and detail.

Crimson Desert (possibly the REAL Dragon's Dogma 2?)
Tides of Annihilation
Stellar Blade 2
Azur Promilia

All that's missing for me is a high quality turn based JRPG.

"Prompt: Write two paragraphs on why gamers should be excited for gta6, maje it casual and in first person"

Resident Evil Requiem is easily the one I'm looking forward to the most. But that's kinda true for any year a Capcom developed Resident Evil is released.

That aside, I'm very interested in Tides of Annihilation and Showa American Story. Honorable mention to Palworld: Palfarm simply because fuck Nintendo.
