What Lesser Known Superhero Would You Like to See an Adaptation of?

I'm hoping he shows up in the Black Lightning show, but with the realistic tone that's going for, I don't know if he'd fit.

God yes.

We're woefully lacking teenage superhero movies at present. It's pretty much been Spider-Man and Big Hero 6 that I know of.

Just gotta hope Homecoming is successful and DC jumps on the teen hero train.

The Doom Patrol based on Morrison's Run would be a fantastic, totally out there movie.

Lol saw moon knight coming a mile away

I'm with besada the legion would be neat tho might be to many characters for a movie

It could work if you keep it to mainly a core few. Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, Brainiac 5, and Phantom Girl could be a good start. I know hardcore Legion fans might be disappointed at such a small team, but you could add members in sequels.

Shang Chi, and make it a movie to seperate him from Iron Fist. And hire a good stunt team this time.

Also, Thunderbolts, I would prefer a movie here too. Bring back Daniel Bruhl as Zemo (wearing his mask this time), and have him co-lead the team with Songbird. Fill out the roster with Beetle/MACH-1, Fixer and Moonstone. Maybe add Radioactive Man too but a core cast of 5 might be preferable for the script. It would easily print money for Marvel Studios, you have the Zemo connection to set this up. Or they could wait to do Masters of Evil...

I really desperately want to see what kind of fuckery would happen if Marvel did something with the Squadron Supreme.

Fox should bring the Exiles in to clean up the X-Men timeline. Any excuse to see more of those sweet Blink effects from DOFP at least.

Also would love the hell out of an Incredible Hercules adaptation and I'm patiently waiting for Invincible to actually become something after all the rumors.

So many good suggestions in here.

Blue Beetle should be DC's Spider-Man. I'd love to see a Zatanna movie too. Also, the Legion, let's go. Introduce them in a Man of Steel sequel and go from there. And then give me my Matter-Eater Lad solo film.

Can't really think of anybody else at Marvel outside of Moon Knight.

Yeah, I'd actually do the origin story, so you'd have the original three saving R.J. Brande, only to discover a deeper conspiracy, which he funds them to investigate. On Rimbor they pick up Ultra Boy, who helps them dig deeper into crime syndicates. Their investigation leads them into searching Brande's history, which takes them to Durla, where they find Brande's son, Reep, and discover that it was Durlans trying to kill Brande, on behalf of Starfinger, who has also been controlling crime on Rimbor, etc. They do battle with the criminal mastermind, defeat him, and Brande buys them a clubhouse.

It actually does look like the Legion of Super-Heroes are getting adapted into live action (again) pretty soon...

...on Supergirl. Set your expectations to "oh, I forgot to watch it again this week".

I'm surprised Hercules hasn't made an appearance or a cameo in the MCU yet.

Just have him pop up in a Thor movie and make him a support character.

The world isn't ready for Miracleman and Kid Miracleman's rampage on film in all it's glory. Therefore I want it to happen.

Hail, peons, for I have come as ambassador from the great and bountiful Blueberry Butt Explosion
I want Kirby's New God's so badly. Mr. Miracle, Orion, Granny Goodness, Darkseid. All of it.

Beat me to this. In the right hands, it would be dope as fuck.
And it's not that it is just a great comic but it is also literally the comic best suited to television I've ever come across.

It is a detective story with all of the arcs being discrete cases, it perfectly rides that line between episodic and serial stories.
It is stylish as all hell.
It has a great lead with a great hook and it is anchored by a fantastic core relationship(Wes and Dian).

I need this so bad.

For DC it would have to be their WIldstorm properties. A whole well built universe and they barely ever touch it.

For Marvel Nova. Fan favorite, interesting origin, and in a lot of ways a cosmic version of Spider-Man, but other heroes appreciate him more.

Fuck it

Time is ripe for

Brother Power the Geek

The hippie mannequin that came to life in the 1960's because of a weird lightning strike! Do it DC!

The Sentry would be a great film I think. You wouldn't even necessarily have to use the FF license either.
Yeah Sentry would need to be a dark and psychological film, can't see Marvel going all the way with it in the MCU. Sentry would not be a "happy" movie and you can't do him justice on a Netflix budget.

I would love a TV show based on Robert Kirkman's Invincible comic, though it would probably be way too expensive to do in live action, it would have to be a cartoon or CGI show.
Of the 4 Kirkman comics I read (Walking Dead, Invincible, Thief of Thieves and Outcast) I think it's his best.

First up, WE3 could probably be a fantastic animated movie:

Followed by the detective pets that protect their town, Beasts of Burden:

And finally Sir Edward Grey, Witchfinder - set in the Hellboy universe:

IDK. I would just like see more comic book adaptions, aside from the Big Two, like Captain Underpants.

I would also say Kick-Ass as a example, but apparently, that is a sub-division of Marvel upon further research.
