I just find it surprising that so many people here are once again blinded by beefed specs and polygon counts, when that has proven time and again that's not what the general public cares about for a portable gaming unit. The 3G, move to flash cartridge, and track pad are the only truly interesting things of the device.

Also their software strategy is once again fucked. Killzone, Uncharted, LittleBigPlantet... so we're getting key PS3 software but now in portable form? Gee, I could have sworn PSP did that with key PS2 software as well.

After the announcement today I've become convinced that this generation of portables is going to be a carbon copy of the last one. Your thread proves that even further!

I'm still getting the 3DS and waiting on the PSP2 till they announce some games I actually care about. I could care less about graphics and 3D and all that baloney. I just want to see some games.

Also, a price point that is equivalent to a mobo + CPU upgrade will also greatly deter me, as i'm pretty jazzed to get a sandy bridge CPU and mobo over a $300+ console.
