Two different girls that I've been fooling around with have told me in the last two days that we either need to get serious or stop with the fun stuff. These were both girls that previously told me they weren't looking for a relationship and were just in it for the fun of it. Help me OT, how do you keep a fuck buddy from wanting emotion to be a part of what should be a purely physical relationship?

As soon as they start getting emotions involved, just know one thing: you won. Women always say how they can keep their shit cool and how it's always the guys who get clingy during a friendship that's all about sex. Man, it's such bullshit. I've seen more women go down than men.

ive only had one relationship like this and it ended the same way.. the girl was the one that initially brought up the: 'i dont want to get too serious cause im going abroad next semester thing' but after two weeks she said something like, 'i have to break this off cause i cant stand not having a close relationship, and since im going abroad next semester this cant work out'
so yeah.. i dont do that crap anymore.

There is nothing anyone can do to help with this situation, this is just a normal thing. The more often you come over to 'tap it' or spend time or go to the movies, etc. The closer you get to that tipping point where it becomes more than a friendship and more of a dead beat relationship with no commitment.
The only "advice" I can give you is to have a large rotation, large enough so that you don't spend a whole lot of time with anyone in the rotation and when someone in the rotation starts doing things like 'buying you stuff' (a clear sign that things are changing) you either settle things with that person or put them on 'vacation' for a while.

Oh, and an edit. Most of the situations with my friends like this are initiated by the girls. Girls in college who just want sex without a relationship tend towards a relationship anyway, with this friends with benefits bullshit. Guys just try and fuck random girls on different nights. There are the exceptions, of course. I obviously can't say whether it is like this for everybody, but there's just some anecdotal evidence.
I can't understand "friends with benefits", hell, if I'm a friend with a girl I generally wouldn't mind having sex with her, but if I'm close enough to consider her my friend I'd also not likely mind being in a relationship with her. Again, exceptions exist, but on a whole it, like most everything else college kids do, makes little sense to me.
