Worst Nintendo console launch lineup by far. Nothing to get excited about.
My plan for Sunday:
10:00 AM: get dropped off at Best Buy, pick up Deluxe Set with NSMBU and ZombiU
10:15 AM: go grab breakfast
10:30 AM: call in sick
10:45 AM: arrive home to finally open stuff up and set it up
Me. I have no idea where to go though, and nobody's being helpful.
Fixed that for you.
You get 10% back on each E shop purchase in the form of points. Buy a $60 game and get points equivalent to $6 added to your account.
Wait a tic. Is this like a limit time offer thing? Or is it like foreva?

The service right now is scheduled to run into the end of 2014, but I imagine that Nintendo is going to watch it closely to see about making it available for every user for a fee after that point.
My Gamestop isn't doing a midnight launch. Mother fucker.
FYI: Newegg is shipping out my Zombi U on Friday and said I can expect it on Monday the 19th.
Here's the email I got from them:
Will the Wii Classic Controller work?
I take it I won't be able to play Xenoblade with a Wii U Pro controller.
Nintendo's new system features an 'automatic shutoff' feature, which turns off the system "if there has been no input for a set period of time," according to the system's manual. Here's the catch - a lack of input is still counted when a game is running and paused. We know - we had the system shut off on us when we left the system alone and came back after 90 minutes. System - off. Game progress - lost. By default, this option is activated, and appears to be set to activate after an hour, as we painfully learned.
That would be correct; all Wii games need Wii accessories, due to how Wii Mode works.
Here's hoping they update the console with the ability to do this at a future date. It would be SO nice to me to be able to play Wii games that don't require motion controls to be playable on the U Pro. I really wasn't a fan of having to connect the classic controller to a remote. Not like it was some major inconvenience, maybe it's just a mental thing. Or a me thing.
Yeah, nothing nearly as good as Steel Diver or Luigi's Mansion.
