Did AC3 retail box come with Club Nintendo code?
Relax, I'm just egging people on. Small things here and there irritate me but overall I got it for the first party titles.
I know for sure I will mainly be gaming on the PS4/720 when they release, but Nintendo IPs still hold a special place in my heart.

No 3rd party retail game comes with a CN code so far. The only way to get a survey for a 3rd party game is by getting it digitally.
Yeah, but I think it will definitely die down after the first month or as soon as I begin to realize that I won't have any first party games to play for months.
Less than usual; the games I've put most time into (NSMBU and Scribblenauts) feel pretty familiar. However, the few minutes I got to try out some asymmetric multiplayer yesterday felt pretty fresh.shinobi602 said:So guys, I'm curious.
Do all of you have that "new console" feel going right now? That hyped/giddy feeling whenever you buy a brand new console for the first time?
Yea I have no idea why there could not just be a friendlist in miiverse. Silly Nintendo.
looking back at review will some of these websites feel any shame at all?
Gametrailers:
ZombiU 6.5 vs Epic Mickey 6.7
the site also has NBA2k13 listed for December 18th Release :|
not picking on gametrailers but I felt forced to try the games myself instead of relying on reviews

Now I find myself jumping back and forth between Mario, Nintendo Land, BLOPS, the Miiverse, and even the eShop where I constantly find myself wanting to buy more games. I'm actually very impressed with this thing.
It would be criminal for Nintendo not to put out Pushmo/Crashmo on the Wii-U.I probably would have new console feel, but Crashmo kinda just released yesterday so fuck Wii U.I played a bunch of NSMBU this afternoon
Nintendo is kind of lame, so they don't have a purchase account per se.Does WiiU use the same account information as Wii? I purchased a few downloadable games for the Wii years ago. (Waiting 4 Christmas to open!)

Nintendo has said that they held a few completed Wii U games back so that they could keep releasing first-party games over the next few months, holding off a draught. So there will be new first-party games to buy, though whether you want to buy them all is a different matter entirely.
I have bought too many games
So I am like rotating between games a lot to make sure I've experienced them all enough so they don't go to waste hah

Yeah i would like a source as well because i can only think of a handful of first party stuff that is coming but till maybe Q2-Q3 2013.Source? I didn't know about this. I don't want to get hyped for nothing.
Yeah but we kinda already knew about all those games and knew they would be releasing, from this guy it sounds like they have all these secret first party stuff no one knows about which is why i wouldn't mind seeing a source. They did this crap with the 3DS, its a good strategy in theory, but in practise its horrible.

Iwata said that the amount of Western 3rd party games made it possible to delay some first party titles from launch to the months after launch. 99.9% sure he was just talking about Pikmin and Wii U Fit.
If you look at how pre-orders are doing at the moment, it is not an exaggeration to say that Wii U is sure to sell well in this holiday season, as many of you are probably thinking. But we realize the biggest challenge is to make sure that Wii U sells well even in the next year after the holiday season, and we are working on that too. Nintendo tends to release too many titles at the launch of a hardware system and as a result suffers a drop in new games for quite some time after launch, and for the Wii U launch, we are being very careful not to let it happen. Fortunately, third-party publishers overseas are launching many titles for us this time, and we were able to push back the release of some of the titles that we had originally intended to release as launch titles until next year.
I am glad I am not the only foolish one but I think my full list is still ahead in stupidity

currently spending the most time playing Zelda Skyward Swords which I am playing for the first time to test Wii Mode since I was so busy playing Xenoblade
I still have The Last Story in this backlog.
freaken addicting eShop and huge 2TB HDD makes me a sad yet busy gaming Panda.
Also Game & Wario. What ever happend to Panorama View btw?Iwata said that the amount of Western 3rd party games made it possible to delay some first party titles from launch to the months after launch. 99.9% sure he was just talking about Pikmin and Wii U Fit.
ZombiU, NintendoLand, Trine 2, Mighty Switch Force HD and Nano Assault Neo have made this an awesome launch for me. I'm loving Miiverse. The social aspect of this console is awesome. Every game I play, I feel really connected to others that are playing it as well. Be it through leader boards, Miiverse comments or online play with some games.
The Netflix community is awesome. So many King of the Hill pictures. Hank Hill's 'my propane is ready,' had me laughing.

If they would just bring the VC over to the Wii-U and allow the stuff to be played on the gamepad that would keep me busy for at least 6 months. That's what I figured as well. I wish they weren't so secretive about their titles beyond March and just show games that are coming out. I don't see the point in not announcing or showing games coming out within the next year.

So VC is coming.. And i can play it on the game pad? Do NOT fuck with my emotions right now. They said they were working on this. For obvious reasons, this wasn't their number 1 priority for launch. But it's coming.

I am in a very emotional state.
"We understand that there are people who were looking forward to playing Wii games, Virtual Console games, and so forth on the GamePad, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate those users' expectations. There are plans for a Wii U Virtual console that will be compatible with the Wii U GamePad."
Clearly, you're missing the entire point of this forum.
Excuse me while i go change my underpants and change the underpants i am about to put on.From Iwata's mouth:
Every game you loved playing on Wii Virtual Console will be available for double the price! From Iwata's mouth:
Would love GC support but i am still bummed out they don't support GC controllersEvery game you loved playing on Wii Virtual Console will be available for double the price!
(note: if Dreamcast, Saturn, and Gamecube are available and with decent libraries, all will be forgiven)
