But PSSR or whatever they're calling it can probably bring 4K games to 8K pretty convincingly. I think when we're talking about resolutions that high, it's probably pretty hard to tell the difference anyway.
People are already finding it hard to justify 4k gaming even despite it being around for almost 10 years, between all the people choosing performance mode and going crazy over high FPS.
8k gaming is like a stone rocket, that shit is not taking off man
Ah, my bad! I thought you was dissing me . I’m a musician, and sound engineer. More of an inside joke among musicians because 808 bass is on everything these days….I’m totally guilty of putting 808s on everything too tho! It just sounds so damn good on everything

Was just wondering why the guy in your picture was listing a bass line as an 808 slide lol. I know he's meant to be wrong but I'm just confused as I'd never seen someone categorize a bassline as a slide. Don't hang around many producer communities besides edm servers on discord
808 bass is very effective for that sub bass area and people these days love the big boom bass (hence all the beats headphones out there)

It’s more of a technique. Typically used on drill. You basically play a sub bass like a melody but in between the notes you increase the legato. This creates a sort of pitch bend in between the notes. So say you go from a D2 up to a g. Instead of just jumping to that next note it slides too it. sounds even more awesome on basses. Can actually work with any bass patch but as you know…. We all run right back to that 808! But I am starting to lean on it less and less myself. I been messing with this synth called serum and Native instruments play box for my bass lines lately. Play box is just insane!
