Flowers of Evil 2:
Just an absolutely stunning episode, and very creepy at several points (especially the end). They've really done a good job of showcasing just how serious every little thing can feel to people at that age. Seeing how Kasuga is freaking out and thinking about his life being over feels very genuine in a way to how an awkward teenager can react to such situations. Things aren't helped for him with Nakamura, who is just evil and creepy. I'm not sure where this bizarre relationship is going to go, but I can't imagine it leading to anything but pain for Kasuga.

I have to really praise the production for the show, especially in regards to the usage of music and how they build tension. I was really on the edge of my seat during the
scene where the teacher asks if anyone wants to say something
. That was such a small thing in the cosmic scheme of things, but the show really made it out to be such a tense moment, and I loved it. Of course, the backgrounds continue to be excellent, too. The amount of detail put in to that scene near the stairs in the house that was only on screen for a few moments is pretty impressive.

Saikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashiinda ga 1
Well this kept within my expectations for the show except for that ending. What the hell was with that ending

Saw this for laughs.....half an episode dedicated to the pissing yes literal pissing of a young girl and her inability to remove a chastity belt.

This is far worse than anything I would ever have imagined.

The use of sound in Flowers of Evil is outstanding. And the way they fade in the ED in each episode, brr.

Wow. I wasn't expecting this show to be more shameless than OniAi, but this really is borderline hentai right here. Not that I'm complaining about that. The show knows what its goal is, and it delivers.

For people who have already decided not to watch this show and thus aren't going to witness the wonders of this first episode, let me just briefly describe some of its events so that you can understand the levels of lewdness we're talking about here.

Within the first episode, the main character's new (step)sister has her body hijacked by a ghost girl, who immediately starts masturbating because it's been "so long" since she had a body. After the sister steals her body back, the ghost decides to just molest her until she likes it instead.

Then the imouto notices her pantsu have been stolen and replaced with a MAGICAL CHASTITY BELT THING that can only be "removed" by pressing a suspicious heart-shaped button. After pressing this button to make it retract, the imouto rushes across the hall (still with lower half practically naked - okay, she puts her skirt back on, but it's so short it's barely better than a belt anyway) to go to the toilet, whereupon the MAGICAL CHASTITY BELT magically reattaches, and it turns out it can't be removed for more than three minutes every hour. So imouto has to hide in the bathroom, desperate for the toilet, for a whole hour (while her family try to talk to her and the ghost taunts her and occasionally steals her body) until she can retract the belt thing again and achieve blessed relief.

Lewd enough? Yeah. I thought so.

I don't think I could reasonably drop this series at this point. I have to see what further lewd and gratuitous depths it can achieve. Plus, you know, the imouto is pretty damn cute.

Negative points: the direction/pacing is thoroughly mediocre. The censorship is massively in-your-face to the point where I almost want to just wait for the disc release (though the scenes are still more lewd than almost any other show even with the censors in place). The onii-chan main character is, of course, the most generic person you ever met. The ghost, while a catalyst for lewdness, doesn't seem particularly cute at this stage. The OP and ED are both so utterly forgettable that I had forgotten them both before they were even finished (though the ED has a slightly odd thing going on in its animation...)

Overall score: LEWD/10.

I never said my expectations for this show were anywhere near good. I read the manga for a couple chapters and pretty much just as bad

People watching anime without headphones to begin with? pfft

Looks like we have a potential List show.

List shows are entertaining. ImoCho is just typical imouto garbage with the usual soulless execution, trope regurgitation and cynical checklist pandering whose only reprieve from being immediately disregarded and forgotten is apparently that it is slightly more depraved than average. Watching it is a painful and degrading experience for anyone who has even the slightest horror toward the imouto industry and subculture that makes a show like this possible in the first place. Please, guys, don't make my suffering for nothing.

Blowing up a barren rock to save Earth seems like pretty justifiable self-defense to me.

As stated above, I don't think it's actually gonna save the Earth. Also, I don't think it's quite powerful enough to destroy planets. Maybe.

The I guess technically ghost rapist does raise the unpleasantness a bit.

Can't say I felt horrified or degraded though. Well the whole against her will nature of some of it is quite unpleasant.

Sadly, this is how things often go around here:

Hapless Viewer: "Man, that fire over there is blazing hot!"

AnimeGAF: "I'd better go stick my hand in there to see just how hot it actually is!"

Thankfully, I live alone and am thus able to watch anime without fear (except when visiting my family, at which times I make sure to watch less, er, family-friendly shows only when everyone else is asleep).

Which post this month will immortalize cnet with his real pic on sos?

It sure is a good thing I have no concept of shame, huh?

Maturity, bitches.
Given noone in my house understands japanese, sound isn't really an issue.
That's probably worse for iDOLWR@STLER considering they will not understand the context of all those moans coming from your bedroom.

"NOOOO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

So not only is Ace and Regina a
Max Heart situation, it's got a bit of Suite to it too. King Selfish was really the original king, so desperate to save his family that he got possessed by an ancient evil lurking in the corners of his kingdom that nobody sought to exterminate. So this whole thing's been about some daddy issues going on, not just with Regina, but from Ace too. Also, Ai is the remnant of the Queen's body after she ripped her own soul in two after being divided between love of family and love of kingdom.

I was wondering if the Selfish Trio were converts like Trio the Minor, but apparently they're forces that have always existed and were simply waiting for the right moment. And ChernaKing is free and ready to destroy Earth. So, we're into Endgame Mode now.

Tons of plot stuff dropped this week - and I wish these things weren't always saved for one big infodump at the end - but it was entertaining and expository. Happiness Charge looks fine, too. The Megumis look like a lot of fun to watch. Even if it is kind of borrowing Aikatsu's card system for a year. A 10th anniversary with cards, where have I seen that before?

Trump Kingdom is actually Burger Kingdom

Apparently, there were two other Selfish warriors, but that doesn't matter.

Marie Ange actually ripped out her own fucking heart and ripped it in half. Hardcore ass Princess.

Redgina is back, still goes to King Selfish. King Selfish was actually the Burger King. Makes sense. As a Burger King, you can have your way. Selfish King doesn't want that from you.

Regina then rips a hole in the fabric of space to go into the real world

Selfish Trio was there from the Getgo, and Ai is Ange's body

There was HappinessCharge and New Stage 3 previews

Mana's swag doesn't even stop as she seduces the new Cures. Cure Honey didn't get much time in the PV. Mana is still a fucking screenhog in the previews.

Transformation for HaChas will be "Base Body, then slapping clothing items on top". And possibly capes make a glorious return

Happiness Charge teaser and New Stage 3 trailer

NEXT TIME! IRA VS RIKKA! Regina/King Selfish vs others. And Cure Ace continues to be quite the bitch.

SOME of them are entertaining. Some are boring sex n gorn like Oedo. Some are good, like Blood C and Geass, others are horrible like Arjuna. All of hem are weird.

The I guess technically ghost rapist does raise the unpleasantness a bit.

People are reacting to the omorashi stuff like it hasn't been steadily creeping into anime for years. What enough people aren't talking about is the ghost rape--yes, I cannot believe I am even typing this--ghost rape, presumably because it's harder to take a step back and just think about what is actually transpiring when yuri's involved. (I'm far from immune to this.) It's not funny and absurd, it's just what the fuck?

Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta 1

Is this adapting the manga from the first chapter?

So this was pretty good first episode. Big cast, lovely animations, and pretty good character designs. Also so many panty shots, some of them were even up for a split second, so perverted.

I never do. Even watched the whole of iDOLWR@STLER out loud.

But this may have to change considering a recent development…

Even not taking privacy into account, watching any kind of entertainment with a good pair of phones is a superior experience provided you don't have an expensive speaker system.

Sadly, this is how things often go around here:

Hapless Viewer: "Man, that fire over there is blazing hot!"

AnimeGAF: "I'd better go stick my hand in there to see just how hot it actually is!"

I'm partially responsible for perpetuating this so I can't speak too much against it. I just want others to be aware that winks and nudges are typically not implied when someone emphatically warns that something is a terrible experience.

But you see, until you've tried it for yourself, how can you really know how hot it is?

I'd say my hi-fi provides adequate sound. I'm not an audiophile so I'm not likely to pick up the difference between it and a pair of headphones (though obviously I pick up the difference between it and the laptop's inbuilt speakers).

But you see, until you've tried it for yourself, how can you really know how hot it is?

Well... at least we know what the idea of heat feels like. It's just varying degrees of heat. Differing levels of heat is basically the same thing conceptually on a comprehensible level. I feel like with shows, it's hard to actually comprehend the varying levels of shit until you've actually seen it.

Yeah. That if anything was what stood out to me, but then that kind of stuff is a bit of a hot button issue for me. And the prevalence of rape in things like hentai is something that would put me off it all if animated porn actually did it for me. Sexual violence for titillation is really pretty bothersome to me (though obviously not everyone feels the same way in and out of fiction).

If anything the family situation is less bothersome to me than most intra-family romantic comedies in anime. I mean it could have been no worse than Gossip Girl - not that I want to hold that up as some bar, but a story where teens from two families are merged through a remarriage and those teens are attracted to each other works better for me than the typical anime setup of half siblings raised together from a young age still becoming romantically linked.
