So Divine Gate ends with most of the cast dead*, most of the main conflict unresolved, and the main heroes surviving for no reason.

Fuck you.

And it ends on a goddamn tease for another season.

*excuse me, alive for incredibly idiotic reasons.

You know, I watched the entire season of Divine Gate as well. I feel like I knew what was going on maybe a quarter of the time in the moment and the rest of it was just spent being generally uninterested more so than being confused. I feel like I should check myself in for self mutilation, no one other than masochists should bother with this show. The fact that they'd consider a second season should label the show as a comedy though.

She and Her Cat: Everything Flows: 4

It was obvious the moment was coming and it did. Nice to see her happy in the end.

In less depressing news, we got a bit of info on Garo Divine Flame.

Apparently it's set 4 years after the original series, and it'll be 80 minutes long.

I'm glad the movie will have a brand-new threat, since the show itself didn't leave any plot hooks to pick up on. Hopefully it'll handle
the return of German
in a way that doesn't feel cheap.

She and Her Cat: Everything Flowed as Expected END

I'd have preffered it if more time was spent on the main character instead of all this dialouge by the cat, it was pretty obvious where it was going after a while so I don't really think the short time this show has to work with is best spent on the cat repeating himself.

Now that we're at the end. A strong emotional bond with the main character wasn't really there, for me at least. Maybe they could've solved this by giving her more screentime. But who really knows right? It's always iffy with these things.

Still a neat short, loved the character design.

This sounds every bit as bad as I though it would be after episode 1.
My favorite terrible part was exposition by crazy person.

Yo guys, i need help finding thr name of a certain Anime my father watched some years ago on TV.

Parts of the plot: a water spirit is growing in some prince's stomach and since he's hunted by others because of that his mother hires some lady warrior, who fights with a lance, to get him away and protect him.

Aniplex is bringing Nisekoi S2, Plastic Memories, and Working S3 to BD. Hope someone in the Q&A asks them about Mushishi. Just toss it out on BD already and I'll pay whatever price you want! :(

Apparently Sentai has the 2010 Cobra anime. No idea if that's any good or not.

It lacks almost all of the stylistic charm brought to the property by Osamu Dezaki and the actual plot is sort of nonsense, but it is more Cobra and the main character remains as charismatic as ever. Therefore, I'd say it's fun enough.

Wait what the.
Crossbone Gundam big announcement coming next month.

Well, that's interesting. Crossbone isn't that great of a manga, to be honest, yet any potential anime adaptation will at least give some more life to the late UC period.

Working S3 is day 1 for me. Wished NISA would of got it.

I liked and defended Divine Gate early on after maybe 4 episodes. Then it focused on Arthur and the Gate and fuck did my opinion reverse. Once it got away from exploring the fucked up psyches of the 3 main characters the show just dove off a cliff into nonsensical garbage

Really it kept staying pretty high level the whole time. Its still my show of the season. Really good game adaptation. I hope it comes west.

Nene and Clarion best robot team. Overall enjoyable for the most part, but fanservice and BUER kept it from being really good. Still, it was a nice look at a world of robots and cyborgs, so it was worth a watch.

I'm glad they adapted the Admiral Perry lemonade skit

Please Tell Me, Galko-chan 12 END

Best friends forever, and we can be friends who have different tastes. It's more lively that way.

I think this show was mostly about cramps or something, I don't know... At least Galko helps out Otako out and not be rude about it.

I will miss this awesome show, and hope there's a 2nd season.

I am also shocked that the company who has always done Tiger Mask is indeed doing Tiger Mask.

... You got me there.

But Lost Canvas did happen man.

I was a 4year old kid when I watched TM, I wasn't exactly paying attention to the studios at the time and didn't bother to check who did it now. ;_;

I guess its foolish to hope for a TV series?

I'd rather have an OVA than a TV series, since I'd rather have something that looks like Thunderbolt than something that looks like IBO.

Aniplex of America has to release Mushishi on BD here sometime... Right? Have they skipped disc releases for anything else they've licensed?

I'd be fine with either. I've heard a lot of good things about Crossbone, so I'll be really happy if this means it's getting animated.

The only downside is I'd have to watch F91, as Crossbone's apparently a sequel to it from what I've heard.

If you don't have NISA's BD release of S2, I would pick it up quickly. Their license for it will expire by the end of the year.

They have; see DTLs post. There's others, too. They used to release less popular titles on DVD only (which would be a crime if it happened to Mushishi S2 anyway), but now it seems they're skipping disk releases for them entirely. It's very frustrating as someone who loves Mushishi.

Not much point in watching F91, since you'll fall asleep partway through it anyway.

This actually happened to my fiance when we were watching it together years ago. It's that boring of a movie.

True Tears ep.1-3
I'm not sure what I am watching here. Really.. I'm really confused. We have a girl that shacks up with a boy that she likes, but doesn't like, she likes another guy, that is the brother of the girl who is hitting on the guy she lives with but doesn't like. At the same time, that guys little sister, who likes the boy, treats the MC like the chicken that died and gives him bird feed, bit she also casted a curse on him for misfortune and she cannot cry, but wants to collect the tears ftom someone else instead... Did anyone follow that?

Oh, the OP is really good and the music is beautiful in general, I just have no idea..

Media Blasters, the bottom feeders of the North American anime industry, have managed to scrape together enough funds to license a new title: "My Wife is the Student Council President". If you're a fan of that, you'll be able to buy it on (presumably) a DVD-R as soon as this Summer!

Heavy Object END
Well, and now one less good show to look forward to each week. I honestly had no idea what they would do, but it was pretty cool. That the show had a "Fin" at the end bothers me though. It felt like a good point to end a season, but by no means did it feel like a real ending. Way to many different plot points are still out in the open, waiting to get solved.

I just hope we really do get a second season some point in the future. Could take ages for the novels to actually become available here and I am not sure if those would be as good without the visualized battles.

Hey, one of my fav. skit about commodore Perry got adapted. That was fun.
Coconotsu dad prove himself once again as the best wingman.

Ojisan to marshmallow 12

So it's just a misunderstanding huh. Well, show over, and well, i got what i wanted. Ojisan and marshmallow, and OL teasing fat guy.

Grimgar ep. 2.5 special

Director is an ass man. It's a fanservice episode, but rather than throwing tits or ass, this episode pretty much focus on Haruhiro and co as they tried to resist the temptation (they failed btw).

God Eater 12

That is one big gun/sword you have there Lenka. No, seriously, that one is really humongous, it's borderline parody. At least there's some cool action scene

Kekkai Sensen OVA PV. Just after realizing Kiku's VA from Rakugo was in this.

FUCK YEAH!

Heavy Object

That was a satisfying ending for the season, this show improved so much from its weak beginning, I hope they make a new season.

Gate

That was a dumb as fuck rescue plan (seriously, nobody notices the vehicle!) and ending. I still think this show is such a wasted opportunity, we could have intrigue and clash of civilizations but instead we get harem and creepy lolis. Oh boy, I hope the 3 princes civil war will be good at least (if they decide to make another season).

GATE END
Well, I liked it, but I also think the first season was a bit better, but not by much. Similar to Heavy Object, there are still quite a few things unsolved which I hope will get resolved in a third season. If we get a third season. Please give us a third season. ;___;

I want a third season of GATE as well. This season had a woeful shortage of Rory slaughtering. The pacing of the first season was definitely better than this one.

Felt abit rushed but was still good. The way it ends though it kinda seems they don't plan on making another season :( There's so much content left, it's quite disappointing.
