Whoa really? I've never watched any of his films

So did HapCha deliver false promises or is it still good?
I havent kept up since episode 4.

International Cures delivered
Cards still being used in every episode
Oresky is DIO

Sure it's still delivering for the most part, and hasn't really given strong signs of a severe decline unlike last season.

Never before has peeling potatoes been this pure. NEW SHIP GETTO!

In a perfect world, this scene would've been extended showing Yuuko tilting Hime's head back so she could capture her lips with her own after a period of intense gazing into each other's eyes.

BECAUSE. GOD DAMMIT. I'm starved for anime that acknowledges that the courtship and confession aren't the only interesting part of a relationship.

I'll take anything. And I mean anything

Well relationship starts is mostly what anime does. It seems manga goes further, and thats probably just due to them getting more time.

So for anime your best chance is where the couple forms at the start of a show. And even then, in things like Golden Time its still all in the start of relationships, unless they offer up an epilogue.

Makes me think of marriage and how I'm not sure I could name a married couple in anime that are the main characters, rather than parents of said characters. And that of course reminds me of how the same issue surrounds US comics.

Sorry guys. I got caught in the endless loop of Infamous Second Son where I was going "I'll just do this one last thing" over and over again for 3 hours. Finally broke out of it somehow.

Anyways I saw a lot of votes for The Tatami Galaxy so I guess I am finishing that tonight.

I'd love to watch a show where the married couple are the protagonists. I like to believe Baccano has the perfect couple though. Isaac and Miria are like literally perfect for each other. They're not necessarily lovey dovey but they give off this energy that is just amazing.

I'm with you. I thought Wolf Children was honestly the worst film to date of his.

Compared to Girl Who Lept Through Time or Summer Wars? I guess yeah I'd consider it my least favorite of his. It still is an amazing movie, I just felt it lacked oomph. Also
husbando died too early he was my favorite

Have you seen the Digimon movie?

Why isnt this movie on bluray yet?

Studio Ghibli won't release Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away until the last batch of their blu-rays. This is because if they do, people won't buy their other movies and just fight over both of these. I'm eagerly awaiting those two and Porco Rosso. My favorite three Ghibli movies. Though Laputa is a close fourth.

Yeah I still liked Wolf Children but thought it was the least enjoyable of his works.

That actually makes sense. Those are the "blockbusters" as far as Miyazaki films go.

Yeah I still liked Wolf Children but thought it was the least enjoyable of his works.

Then you've seen Summer Wars <(￣︶￣)>

Been years since I saw the Digimon movie. All I remember was they got the whole gang to Skype and then sent Matt and Tai into the internet to defeat the Devil or something. I remember thinking it was weird that the movie's art looked somewhat off from the show's.

I also think I missed the end of Digimon Adventure 2, and I picked up Digimon season 3, thought the card aspect was bullshit because "Oh come on how many anime are doing this card thing right now?" (At the time I think both Yugi Oh and Card Captor Sakura were on, plus Pokemon had its whole TCG and while I liked those early Digimon TCG things, too, I didn't want a show about it.)

Now, I know you're thinking "Corvo, STFU, CCA and Yugi Oh are nothing alike" but I was like, 13.

The JP BD for Princess Mononoke has both English subtitles and the English dub. Buncha other languages too.

Well I just asked this elsewhere, and someone shouted at me Godannar. Heard the name before, but that's it.

By the way, this is also a public service announcement that everyone should bookmark the Fandom Post forums for US, JP/Asia, and EU/AU releases as a great place to search for details on when/if something's been released in a given territory and details on it.

I tried it before. It was ok but didn't really get my attention. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Also after mentioning these two

I feel like watching the show again. Favorite characters. I'll give the dub blu-ray a watch this weekend, have never seen it.

There is not a single character in Summer Wars that is even remotely memorable.

One interesting thing about Our War Game is how much of a snapshot of a very particular time it is. Despite the fantasy premise, the depiction of user interfaces, internet services, and computer hardware is very accurate to the time(right down to the BSOD, LOL). If the film was set just a few years earlier, the internet would not be widespread enough for the story to work. On the other hand, a few years later and the plot point where Matt and T.K. can't find internet access in a rural village wouldn't be believable.
