Curious to see if anyone will wait for any of the next gen/PC versions of the game and go into with fresh eyes on better hardware.

If other SKUs do exist it makes sense to release before the holiday season, right? However, since there has been no announcements, could Rockstar wait until next year, an unbearable wait for many!

Rockstar does its own thing, however, they can easily announce next gen version later this year, so sales of the currently known SKUs are not affected.

But other than the code details, there has been no inventory database or ratings leaks, usually barometers of release.

My prediction is next year. Can you wait?

It is the only reason why I still have my 360 alive, otherwise I would have gotten rid of it. I wouldn't wait at all.

Unless you aren't a huge fan of the series, there is no reason to wait.

I'll be triple-dipping if it does in fact come out for PS4. How could you not? How could any fan of GTA who also owns a PS4 not buy it? It will look incredible, and the possibility of more than 16 players in GTA Online would be a huge selling point, if they decide to go that route. Which I certainly hope they do.

I'm buying a PS4 and I want Grand Theft Auto 5: PS4 Edition to blow me out of the water.

Not GTA related but, I believe I'm already waiting for Gran Turismo 6 (7?) on the PS4. Sure It will take some time but my decent Backlog is there for me. As for my racing needs, Drive Club will be there to keep me busy. It's not the same thing but it sure is looking good so far. Now I just need how much will it cost me to upgrade from the PS+ Edition to the full Edition, if the price is right, I'll get it.

With the videos out in the wild, it seems that is far from the case. If anything it's why a next generation of machines is so desperately needed.
