Out of curiousity, I went back and looked what the tracking was for Deadpool the week of release.

It was $65-70M. People were still talking about "maybe $90M" after the Thursday previews. Deadpool ended up making over $130M opening weekend.

I think IT is getting near or breaking the current R-rated record for previews, $12.7M held by Deadpool. It won't get close to Deadpool's OW off that, of course, but that certainly would put over $90M in play.

Like Deadpool, tracking is going to be way off since IT is playing on a different level than any other horror films.
