That's twelve thousand in 10 minutes..392,416 now
That's twelve thousand in 10 minutes..
Ah ok. That's still damn impressive though.Nah, i's updating like every 25-30 minutes
Looks like I was wrong about Star Wars getting much of a boost in presales in its final day before the midnight release. It's 1pm in China and presales are now sitting at 336k on Gewara. Might hit 370k or so by the time the previews start.
If we're looking at about 10 thousand a half hour, couldn't we see like another 160k?
Well... i assume it's going to slow down eventually
Now 405,570
This will be an interesting test to see how accurate gewara is lol
God I hope those numbers are accurate.
Yes, people are waiting until the last minute to buy tickets since Disney don't provide discount tickets unlike most movies do these days.
Presales picked up, over 150M (~25 million) yuan should be no problem.200M yuan (~33 million) still in doubt, but I won't rule it out.
So you see, don't trust my predictions, they are off a lot always.-_-

The average price is actually $4-$6 according to this site:

In a big city the walk-up full price ticket is pretty expensive, but a lot of people buy online with discounts, but you'll need to be able to read Chinese. You can also go to the first showing in the morning or on Tuesday for 1/2 price.
Remember that most theaters are assigned seating, so you should buy ahead of time.

Not wanting to be a complete party pooper but as per boxofficetheory the number of theatres Gawara tracks is continuously going up. So its hard to make a direct comparison between films.
