What's up with BronsonLee and Cheebo? Stop it guys.
Yeah. This was a fun thread but now it just seems like it's so far off base.
Surely there are iCloud backups?I deleted my document of all the insane quotes from the crow thread yesterday. Decided against making it.
tbh I'd still like to see it made if TFA doubles AoU's domestic gross, which very well could happen at this rate lol.I deleted my document of all the quotes from the crow thread yesterday. Decided against making it.
I mean I purposely deleted it. I decided not to make the thread.Surely there are iCloud backups?
You want to give me shit for snark when you're basically the Snark Jedi.
What in blue hell is going on in here?
Oh yeah. Merry X'mas, guys!
Tomorrow is going to be huge. Christmas Day is always one of the biggest box office days every year Star Wars or no Star Wars.Really curious how today and tomorrow perform just because I know many theaters close early and open late tomorrow. I think that'll eat into the weekend numbers but imagine Saturday and Sunday being huge just with Christmas falling on Friday.
Basically I'm rambling for no reason

That is the Christmas Eve prediction. Day will be higher than that. Everyone goes to the movies on Christmas.I think 26M Christmas sounds insane.
You guys need me back.
For a full visual, the days ahead for Star Wars could look like this if it followed the exact same, daily path as Avatar:
Monday: $40.1 M / $288.1 M
Tuesday: $39.4 M (1.83% drop) / $327.5 M
Wednesday: $40.3 M (2.23% increase) / $367.7 M
Thursday: $27.3 M (32.19% drop) / $395. M
Friday: $56.5 M (107.11% increase) / $451.5 M
Saturday: $69.2 M (22.43% increase) / $520.7 M
Sunday: $59.4 M (14.24% drop) / $580.1 M ($185M weekend)
For those interested in records, the largest second weekend of all-time is $106.5 million, set by Jurassic World earlier this year, which most certainly will fall. Star Wars also has a legitimate shot at the largest Tuesday of all-time, currently $35 million set by The Amazing Spider-Man. The numbers above would also make Star Wars the fastest film to top $300, $350, $400, $450, $500 and $550 million. In fact, it took Jurassic World 17 days to cross $500 million, by this math it would take Star Wars only nine.

Isn't the record 11M?
25 mil for Sherlock Holmes in 2009 is the record. Avatar Christmas 2009 of 23 mil is second.Isn't the record 11M?
I mean I purposely deleted it. I decided not to make the thread.
Someone else can have fun making it if they want but it won't be me. Some amazing things were said in the thread. My favorite being someone declaring Star Wars will beat Avengers is no different than those who picked TMNT to beat Guardians of the Galaxy, that Star Wars only appeals to niche nostalgia like TMNT.
And the one dude with a Pikachu avatar relentlessly claiming kids don't like Star Wars.
Go for it if you want! I am waving my rights on that thread.I think the connotation of "eating crow" is too negative. It'll just piss people off and then everyone is angry and that's how arguments and bans and closed threads happen.
If we named it something more light hearted, like "Lets look back and laugh at some of the pre-Force Awakens posts" it might be better. Maybe.
Nah, Christmas Day record is Sherlock Holmes at basically 25 mil.
Oh, ok. Don't know why I thought that. Still 26M. Sounds doable, but crazy.

It's possible Force Awakens could double that, actually. Especially if the number of pre-sales for the day are as high as was being hinted at earlier.
No, 26M is the estimate for Christmas Eve. People are expecting 50+ million on Christmas day.

It's doing minimum 40 mil Christmas Day. This isn't a normal movie that plays by the normal rules.Oh, ok. Don't know why I thought that. Still 26M. Sounds doable, but crazy.
IIRC, a new Sherlock film is on WB more than Downey being too busy for another one.It ends in bodies either way. It's a real bad look; people can get predictions wrong. Kind of the nature of the beast. And like someone said, The Cunt Wars have already started. That won't make it any better.
Can Marvel let RDJ out to play so he can make another Sherlock because those are bangin

What's the record for Christmas day?
And they have Ritchie on King Arthur. The dream is dead.
A record that isn't surviving this one!

Completely in agreement just curious
It's still kinda weird to me those movies ever actually happened. The first one felt like this weird, ungainly combo of Lethal Weapon and BATMAN. But you know... British and muddy.
I liked it. Still haven't seen the second one. But man, early in the Marvel days, people were using that movie to compare RDJ to Will Smith.
You shouldn't be coming to any Star Wars related threads, for your own good.

I also think Bronson should make a LiveJournal.
I don't think there is a single Star Wars fans that loves EVERYTHING about it. I doubt there are long essays on why the film Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure is superior to Schindler's List.
The only franchise I know of that has some hardcore fans that will defend to the death every single piece of media released for it is some MCU fans currently. And even then the they are very few and far between. I guess some fans of the various Young Adult franchises too. But I am too old to even know any hardcore Divergent, Maze Runner or Hunger Games kiddies.
