I love working from home! You can surf the web without worrying about people looking over your shoulder, you don't care what pages you open up which may not be "safe for work" and you can just kick back, and get your shit done at leisure.

Anyone else know what I'm talking about? This rocks!

I know exactly what you are talking about.... It especially rocks when you get to take breaks to go and "do" the wife, then play some GTA:SA, watch a DVD, and then go back and answer the emails that came to you during that time..

It especially rocks also when you get a Comcast Cable connection paid for from work to do it....

This is the good life, yes it is...

Once you've spent enough nights where you took your laptop home from work because you had been in the office for 11 hours and couldn't stand the view anymore, only to continue working past midnight because you still weren't done with a project....working at home would lose its luster.

Working at home can be fun, but I'm more of a team person myself, so I tend to do freelance work from home only when there's nothing else cooking.

Working at home has long been my dream.

"I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream is gone from me."

Working at home... I don't know what to think of it. Yes, more convenient and you can do the laundry while working etc. But there's no pleasure of finally walking through the door when you're done with work.

sorry boys, I'm different then you... the Gubment hooks up my connection at home for me... and I make a lot more then 10 bucks an hour

Working at home is fun in small doses... too much of it and it loses its appeal.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that work "picks up the tab" for my cable modem. I even upgraded to a new "extreme" modem from Rogers and started charging my company more. :)
