World of Warcraft |OT9| People still play this? Isn't it from 2004

Nyth and Ursoc. I play Holy Priest.

nythendra is straightforward except for a couple things related to the mind control mechanic. If you take 10 stacks then on her next breath you get MC'd and need to be broken out (brought to 50% hp). They might sometimes call for you to take extra stacks on purpose - this is so that you don't end up with half the raid controlled at once.

Main things to keep in mind is to pay attention to where to drop rot, where they say to gather after breath, and make sure you don't stand in the breath. Keep spread out and stay the hell away from the melee, also don't block them from running to the edges. You're not a melee DPS so you shouldn't need to be told not to take risks during heart of the swarm phase.

One more thing - after you're broken out of MC, I advise spreading out quickly. Rot usually goes off pretty soon after. The fight isn't hard but it does require people to pay attention to mechanics. A lot of it really is just 'don't stand in unsafe places'.

Ursoc is the same as heroic except way more damage on everybody and sometimes an extra add comes out that gets cleaved down. We haven't killed him yet because we only raid 2 nights a week, we went and did heroic Odyn instead.

The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
Is Karazhan loot included in the weekly order hall chest?

No, but I imagine it can be once they add Karazhan to the M+ system as two separate runs.

This may be a bit of a dumb question but I'm not sure about it.

There's a new world quest for the Arcway and I'd like the trinket for an alt. However I ran the Arcway a few days ago. Am I able to re-run it? Like I'm just worried since I completed it I may cause others to lock out or somesuch.

Yeah, Obliterating healing potions is profitable but super time consuming because you only get a couple of ash from each potion. And obliterating the alch trinket is amazing, you get well over a hundred ash from each one.

Yeah, you totally can you just won't get loot from bosses.

I know right, I miss the good old days when people could enact violent fantasies about their exes to express their jilted frustrations without getting side-eyed.
The fictional sequence in old days context is usually a one-time vent (venting is healthy), normally in comedic light, then they feel better and move on. Not persistent dark violent fantasy/tendency as cynically described.

Is it okay to put through a guild recruit in here? In desperate need of a tank on H Barthilas that wants to stroll the forests with my bear self.

I did my first keystone as Frost today after being frustrated with Unholy this week and why did I wait so long? Sheesh, I had no idea what I was doing and easily out performed how I usually do as Unholy.

Bye bye. I'll miss my 2h weapon transmogs but I have blood for that.

Just did a normal dungeon to get a transmog from a WQ reward and the paladin tank got Tyelca, Ferren Marcus's Stature. Maybe I should do some more normals from time to time.

I have to hand it to Blizzard. That was one fun, exhausting, and above all stressful search to get this damn mount.

If you don't know, you have to click 5 ephemeral crystals in Azsuna. They have like, 60 different spawn points so you search all over creation. Whoever clicks all 5 first gets the mount, then they despawn for like half a day. So its a race. On top of that, you have an 8 hour window from first click to last. And you can't die, leave Azsuna, or log off.

And you have no idea if anyone else is doing it too so for all you know, you're alone in chasing after these things, or that there are 50 others hunting it.

But I got it. I've wanted this color since it was datamined in god damn TBC.

So we were doing a +12 (tyrannical) black rook hold for our weekly chest, and my group died at around 30% on dantalionax. But apparently a Blood DK can heal for like 30 million from each death strike with the encounter buff and I eventually just solo'd him down after like 6 minutes of running in circles. The boss did no damage to me but stinging swarm was a bit of a problem. Group was laughing their asses off the whole time.

frost is an absolute monster in keystone dungeons. I have very competent DPS in my group but when we bring a different tank along I go frost and completely destroy them.

Yeah, that's definitely a mount I'll never have. But congrats for obtaining it.

Sorry but I need to vent somewhere folks

Just looted Prydaz as a rogue who's really trying hard to maximize his DPS potential

I feel legitimately gutted, like - night and possibly week ruined

Whoever created this system missed the mark by miles. Its almost as if they havent had 12 years of experience to realize that having utility and damage legendaries on a complete RNG basis would be a bad idea

But aren't you having fun with the stories you're telling about your legendary?

No, you're having a good time and you should shut up if you think it's bad. Welcome to Wowgaf.

Is TheYanger going to come back tomorrow and tell us how Sephuz is going to be a useful legendary with the new buffs? Tune in and find out!

Getting this Nat Pagel thing is pretty fucking dumb with the queues being so long and it being completely RNG.

They should have just made the proc a chance on hit on it's own cooldown. Had they done that it would be a great legendary and no one would mind getting it.

Phew, because of Thanksgiving my group was only able to play tonight for like 3 hours, really wanted to get at least NB and a +10 stone in. After initial stumbling on NB (why the fuck did he refuse to move correctly this week), we went in and did a +8 Maw, purposely 2 chesting it to get to a 10 to at least get 880 gear (didn't have time for 3 dungeons to get a 12 in), and finally luck was nice to us and we got a +10 Nelths Lair. Probably my best possible option for Tyrannical. Everyone played perfectly, and we were actually only ~2 minutes shy of a 2 chest without anyone potting for trash, really glad we were able to get that shit done.

Congrats! That fifth crystal is a bastard to find huh? Nerve-wracking too.

It took me a month of intermittent searching to get mine and then a few days later I spotted a crystal while levelling an alt, so I started a group with the coordinates in the description. I had one person sign up who'd only heard of the mount because they spotted the group I'd made, did some quick googling and decided they wanted in on it. They joined, got the click and stayed in group chatting. A few minutes later I managed to find another completely by chance, and that was it, I was fully invested in getting the mount for that random guy. It took about 40 minutes but I managed to find all five for them.

My guild mates, who've known me for going on a decade now, are still taking the piss because apparently it's out of character for me to randomly do something nice for another player. They're convinced the real me is lying dead next to an empty cocoon somewhere.

So, are there other specs that have a complete shit defensive kit? I was playing my Ret Pally for our alt-run today and it made me realize how much shit I could do wrong and survive.

Divine Shield
Blessing of Protection
Shield of Vengeance
Blessing of Freedom
Shield of Vengeance
Eye for an Eye
Lay on Hands
Flash of Light

What does Fury have?

Enraged Regeneration and Commanding Shout and the latter is only used for the raid and not for myself. Oh yeah and we're the spec that takes more damage than any other spec in the game. They won't do it but I would really love if they added Shield Wall or Die by the Die back to the spec.

Paladins are supposed to be nigh-unkillable though.

We can also have a myriad of crazy shit from engineering too, rocket boots to get away, an extra shield, knockback, etc.

Gets nuts.

Warriors used to be pretty tanky once upon a time, though. Then everything changed when the Fel Nation attacked.

This relieves one worry I had: tank DPS dropping away massively post-34 (when tanks would *lose* their +DPS-per-level bonus (from their passive) and DPS would *gain* a +DPS-per-level bonus (from their bonus trait))

Hit Rank 32 yesterday; my goal to get my weapon up to 34 before Christmas (when it'll probably fall away as my time is taken up by Christmas stuff) is looking good.

Ok so I'm up to Warlord of Draenor and it took me til lvl 95 for me to realise you can pay to stop getting XP, thanks for the tip guys lol.

It's so weird playing expansions in quick succession like this. Garrisons seem cool but not sure how much time I'll spend on them. I'm kinda liking Draenor and the references back to Outland tbh, which I was not expecting.

One lore question that is doing my head in... Are any of the Dranei I'm fighting alongside from OUR time, like the timeline of Burning Crusade etc? Or are they ALL from Draenor before it got fucked up? So confusing. How many years since they got there from Argus? How many years before the orcs would have destroyed everything?

Haly

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Maraad is from "your" timeline. Yrel is from the alternate time line. The bulk of Draenei in WoD are alternate timeline Draenei. It seems they've been on Draenor for a while.

However, no amount of preparation could keep the draenei hidden forever. Eventually, Talgath—after some 25,000 years of pursuit—stumbled upon Draenor, and reported back to Kil'jaeden.
