Let's not forget the whole day one patch adds in all the real game play stuff missing from early copies. Lol so the early warnings were shut out by that. Also those tweets about not spoiling the game for yourself by watching others LOL

Sean Murray should step down, try to save some credibility (if any) they have left, then HG should sort the mess out, they cant really do it with him there after all the B/S he has said.

Man I can understand people who played for a few hours getting a refund but people who played it for like 30 hours? That's just abusing the system. Did they break the game or something in an update aka Pokemon go?
Of course every bit of PR will sell you a dream, that's what adverts do. And tbh plenty of us knew the game would turn out like this based on what they showed us.
I will be shocked if Hello Games is still a thing in a year, either completely disbanded or changed names (that won't help them). Weren't there rumours Sony wanted to buy them? Bullet dodged if so.
You are being overdramatic. I'm sure they're doing fine and will continue to do fine.Sean Murray should step down, try to save some credibility (if any) they have left, then HG should sort the mess out, they cant really do it with him there after all the B/S he has said.
35 pages in and we are still get these posts? Many people who have put a substantial amount of game time have been reporting that the game no longer works for them and that they experience lots of crashes.
If the game doesn't work, you should get a refund - period.
Can't exactly trawl through 69 pages in my case! That info should be in the OP/title which just makes it sounds like a cheeky cash grab.

If you're in the U.K. For steam or psn just threaten to go the ombudsman. Whenever you win or lose the case steam or psn will automatically get charged £500. The company in the end would rather give the refund than pay a pointless investigation charge even if they win.
Only do this if they flat out and finally refuse to give a refund, you need to exhaust all options first.
Posted yet? Dream dead?
Eh, might not be that Murray oversold it. The employees could well have thought they were going to have something done by launch but didn't, and didn't say it to the boss. Happens in businesses all the time, could well have happened at HG too. Sean could just be like one of those bosses that doesn't get his hands dirty nor have an accurate idea of what his team is doing.Seriously. My take away from this who debacle is that I will likely not buy any HG games in the future and will take anything Sean Murray says with a huge grain of salt (Molyneaux levels). I'm not going to cast judgment on a group of people who worked their asses off on a product that was way oversold by their boss.
I suppose by this metric, everyone that worked on GODUS and Broken Age are also shitlords. /s

Oof, bad timing - PlayStation Australia just posted a video with the tagline "18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets to explore". The comments are absolutely savage. Wow.
Considering the company size, he knew. Especially given the certification time to get a title shipped.
I'm in the middle of putting together a tutorial on how to file a complaint towards HG through the Better business bureau and in conjunction through econsumer.gov and am at the part where I tell my story, I am going to include all of the evidence of misinformation and before I go back through everything and make a list I was wondering if any of you had one already other than the obvious reddit list stuff and NMS threads which is what I plan on using? Might save me some time.
I'm also going to do a separate on with all of the bugs and crashes. That falls under a different category so I don't think I can add that to this one.
How? He's doing something to help people who feel cheated, lied to or simply don't want a broken game. You call him a looser with no explanation. You are an absolute loser.

I thought they'd taken it down but it's still there :Got a link? Or have they taken it down?
Also I googled "18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets to explore" from past hour and got one single google result - your post!
You are an absolute loser.
Hey, tone it down. Whats with the personal attacks? You are an absolute gem.

Wait, so suggesting he might *not* be entirely to blame is now Stockholm Syndrome?Sounds like Hello Game's problem. Not anyone elses.
And what's with Sean Murray? Now we're throwing out theories to deflect blame to his employees also? When did this dude become Indie Jesus? Or is this some kind of mass Stockholm syndrome phenomena?
Hello Games is Sean's company. He owns it.
It seems like they are. Not surprising they are clamping down on it after all those headlines. Probably got totally swamped with refund requests.I thought it was single statement time.
Back on subject is Sony and Valve closing in on refunds now that this has become more mainstream?
I honestly think that patches from Hello and them being more transparent about the situation could help with the situation.
well this is interesting
by the way, maybe the timing of when the refund was made could help? like, maybe the staff who was a bit more giving leeway was active at certain hours?
You are an absolute gem.
Lol...Game never looked appealing.
BRB 18 gazillion bland plants
BRB You'll never live long enough to see all of the aforementioned planets
BRB 15 people trying to make a big budget game
BRB No ending
BRB CRAP
Suckas that paid 60 for that game are CRAZY. One of the greatest scam jobs ever!!!
So I booted the game up tonight to see if my access had been revoked yet, since I've never had a digital copy refunded from Amazon. This is how my game loaded.
