.That's the thing isn't it? Mikey Foley had a personality that could win everybody over and he only should have done the crazy stuff at first and laid off on it. (He did it way too long) I think of Darby the same way, he has charisma to win people over so he should tone down the destroying himself. Ok I should have looked at this before but Kevin Kelly's lawyer is Stephen P New which is the lawyer Jim Cornette promotes all the time. This is of course weird since Cornette is so left wing he's a socialist given the case with Kevin Kelly promoting I guess a right wing film. (Even weirder is all the calling Corney racist on the resetera thread, you know given his real political leanings. It wouldn't be the first time AEW had directly messed with NJPW plans (see: 2022 Capital Collision card). However, Kevin's side as he told Bischoff on a podcast is that he helped NJPW find his replacement and he doesn't want to mess with that or do all the traveling anymore.
Not that NJPW would say this, but from their side, they might not want him back anyway after how bad of a job he did his last couple of years there and how he crapped on some upcoming talent on the way out, like Tsuji and Uemura.

A lot of crimes and attempted murder on AEW lately and I fucking love it. 2 back to back incredible events in space of a few weeks and also an ending to a PPV that I'll never forget. I'm hooked again.

Ya that won’t happen. I will say Brett is probably the greatest wrestler of all time as far as skill and performance. But I don’t think he is solely responsible for the kneck injury. Goldberg has said he was untrained and I don’t think Brett is the only hurt by Goldberg.
It sucks that Brett had strokes and could not wrestle and make more money. I
The difference between him and the von Eric’s after so much suffering from both is noticeable. One learned how to move on the other did not.

Stan Hansen broke Bruno Sammartino's neck with a bodyslam. Sammartino spoke to Hansen and told him not to worry, sometimes those things happen in wrestling. I think Hart has some residual jealousy for Goldberg. Goldberg never grew up in the business but he got hot quickly because of his look and gimmick. Hart was on the downside of his career at that point in WCW, he and Goldberg should bury the hatchet.
